Milano Italian Restaurant

Milanos has excellent food!! I have been to two locations, both great. Outstanding calzones and cheese bread. Fresh made sauces and dishes with tremendous flavors. Milanos offers catering and family meals. One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Louisville.

Worst food ever. Overcooked and sauce looked like it was tomato paste out of a can. Waited ten minutes before we were seated and took others behind us and seated them over us.

Food was really good. I got the grilled salmon and it was very delicious and flavorful. My husband had the meat lovers calzone and omg it was huge, couldn't even see the plate! Lot of food for the money. Our total bill with drinks was only $40! Very reasonable. Service was great and restaurant was decorated very nicely.

I was so happy to see this place packed on Mother's Day because this place is underrated (imo) and we should all want it to succeed. This was our 4th visit and as always it didn't disappoint. I've left other reviews and this visit was great as always. Really friendly servers. Can't wait to return.

While staying at a hotel in the Springhurst area, we had a hankering for Italian. We ordered dinner for delivery - tri-color pasta and meat ravioli. Both were very tasty. The ravioli had a delicious filling and a nice tangy sauce. My wife loved the tri-color pasta as well. Try it! Nice homey Italian food. It was delivered fast, while the food was still nice and hot!

Takeout online order. Calzone, kids pasta, and antipasto salad. Salad wasn't what i was used to. Nothing wrong with it, a picture would have helped. Calzone and pasta were good. Calzone was too large for takeout container. Overall positive experience.

Stop here! We stopped here because it was close to the hotel where we were staying the night. Fantastic happenstance choice. Friendly greeting upon entering. We arrived with only one hour until closing, so it was empty (well past regular dining hours).We got our drinks promptly and a basket of breadsticks. The breadsticks had olive oil and cheese on them and were delicious. We ordered a pizza (we did not see where they had thin crust), but the menu did emphasize that they made their own pizza dough. Short wait for the pizza, and it was epic....loaded with topping and cheese, they did not skimp. The menu was pretty extensive with other choices, so I feel that there would be something for everyone. If we lived in the area we would definitely be back. The only complaint was the AC was set too low for me. The restaurant had murals painted on the walls and the booths had high backs so you could not see the people either in front of you or behind you. It was scrupulously clean and they were cleaning while we were there. The restrooms were also very clean.

The service was pretty good and the place was decorated very well! Some decorations felt a little tacky but it was a great change of pace. The pasta was mediocre but the calzones are phenomenal! They're a steal for how massive they are. I would come back again, but only for the calzones.

Such great food, prices and options! We had the Chicken Alfredo, Pasta Milano and cheese bread all were delicious! The Pasta Milano had a bread style chicken while the Chicken Alfredo was grilled, both large portions too.
