Miguel's Mexican Restaurant

Very clean, server friendly. Love the pork burritos. Rare that Mexican restaurant have pork burritos. Mmmm!

Miguel's is an unassuming small storefront in a strip mall, next to a grocery store. I was surprised to see a large, well-designed restaurant inside. There were quite a few people there, but it was relatively quiet. Our wait staff was great and the fajitas were perfect. Lots of fresh veggies, and tender steak.

This place was hidden back a little, but it was great to find.We walked in and were seated fast and greeted by friendly waiters. The environment was clean and fun, good music playing, and speedy service. We order steak fajitas and fajitas jalisco. Both were cooked fresh, fast, hot juicy, not dry and delicious. Our waiter kept up with any request or chip refills, which were made fresh and delicious. The regular salsa was flavorless, but we ordered a salsa picante, which was better for our taste. It was a great meal not overpriced with decent portion sizes too if you want Mexican American food, then try out this place in town.

In this nice little town, they have 2 Mexican restaurants and this was the one we tried for lunch. They tasted great! The customer service was amazing!! They have a lot of Vegetarian options and this is a family friendly and business casual restaurant. They are located in this strip and they have a lot of parking space available. Their inside ambience is decent too. Definitely a place to stop by.

Meh. You've been to one, you've been to them all. Nothing special to note here. It took a while to get seated but the service was ok.

Serving a table of 10 is no easy task at any restaurant, but Miguel took great care of us all. We believe he is the namesake on the marquee but there was no confirmation of that. We took the trolley to the restaurant located just a 1/2 mile from the resort. They dropped off in the parking lot where we entered the usual themed Mexican decor. Lights were dimly lit and the employees were busy taking care of a nearly full house.Food was typical offerings. We had the fajitas for two. They came out on a blistering hot kamal. All of the vegetables were actually cooked and not raw as we've had in other places. This will definitely be on our dinner rotation for subsequent visits to French Lick and maybe we can solve the mystery if our server was also the owner.

Service was horrible, our waiter was extremely rude as he decided to start talking about us in Spanish not knowing I speak Spanish myself. Another employee gave us chips and salsa and we asked that man for a drink menu, our waiter came back and asked "why'd you ask for a menu from someone else!?" Like he was not happy we asked someone else for one. He asked if the check were together or separate, when we told him how we needed the check, he made a negative statement in Spanish and he quickly got a response as I speak Spanish and understand him. The place looks shabby anyway and with the rude service that matched the look, we left.

After a gymnastics meet at the French Lick Resort & Casino, about 30 parents and gymnasts descended upon Miguel's on a Friday night about 7pm.The waitstaff and kitchen were great! The food and drinks were awesome! The restaurant did everything right, on short notice and kept up with drinks, chips, and salsa.Definitely recommend this local gem!

Dined there a couple years ago. The place still rankles me. Server must have resented his decision to be there. Very few people at late afternoon and minimum work required. When I asked for a clean spoon be brought with my dessert, I got a HUUUH? very rude. Cashier there was a local and pleasant. Have never returned an frequent travel through the town. Ic I want Mexican cuisine. I will try the other business.

Food and drink were amazing! Service was great, extremely friendly and polite! Everything came out quick, practically no wait time at all. Great music.
