Mi Pueblo

We haven't been here in a while and boy am I glad we came today! I had the Chilaquiles with over easy eggs and it came with a piece of steak. I was in heaven while devouring this amazing plate of food. My son had the Chefs special and it came with flour tortillas and the tortillas had been griddled which brings out an amazing flavor so of course we had to order another bunch of flour tortillas so I could have some too. Taking the 30 seconds to griddle the tortillas makes all the difference.The service was exceptional and gracious! We will be back much sooner this time around.

Let me start by saying I'm originally from southern California, I lived in Colorado for almost 20 yrs, and make a trip to Cabo every other year. So I'd like to consider myself somewhat of a Mexican food connoisseur. I also spent nearly a decade as a traveling consultant, so I've experienced "Mexican" food from all over the country, and I will say that this place as THE ONLY legitimate Mexican food I have experienced east of Colorado. While their style and recipes aren't exactly like others I've had, they have nailed good Mexican food. We have tried a couple of other, "highly rated" Mexican restaurants here in Kentucky and none are even remotely close to this one. I was becoming very concerned for my Mexican food habit... but no more. Find this place, and go get some very delicious legit Mexican food. Ooo and the drinks are good too.

Don't judge a book by its cover. WOW! So delicious and terrific service. I am from TEXAS and travel across the southwest...this food is delicious and affordable. Just Go and trust me you won't be disappointed. Terrific Mojo shrimp and a pork taco with grilled jalapeños. I will definitely be back if I ever visit Richmond again.

Standard Mexican faire highly anglicized for the small town. If you want authentic get the tacos especially the fish ones. Small corn tortillas, meat, cilantro, onions and jalapeños. Sauce on the side. No lettuce or cheese. Great price.

First time there today and we'll be going back. Carne asada tacos and the carnitas in red sauce. Mexican food cooked by Mexicans. Delicious and fresh. The salsas are on point. It was just lunch today, but definitely will be back to check out the dinner vibe and enjoy the nice bar they have. Excellent service by the manager, I didn't get his name, but he's a super cool dude.

This is a full blown restaurant based off the small diner in the back of the grocery store. This is legit authentic Mexican cuisine. The food here is fantastic, I have tried several things on the menu and I have to say nothing has disappointed me yet. They also have a habanero sauce that is really good if you want some decent spice. I will come here often, it and the one in the grocery store are my go to places

We tried the food at the restaurant in the Mi Pueblo grocery store and it was absolutely delicious. We then decided to try the restaurant and were even more pleased. We had 6 different people order different things including margaritas and everyone enjoyed their entire meals start to finish. Everyone who worked there was wonderful and helpful. New favorite restaurant for sure. Not to mention the fact that the whole restaurant was extremely clean!

I love both versions of Mi Pueblo. They have always had great food and I'm excited for them to have two spots now! Super awesome that one is within walking distance!

Food and service is great, location near a college it is set up for service to student's. Since we were there over holidays it was very quiet. Still very clean and pleasant,

We arrived around 7pm on a Thursday and we were a little uneasy that the place was empty (we were traveling through and relied on Yelp reviews). The service and the food were great, and the prices can't be beat! If ever we find ourselves back in Richmond, we will definitely stop back to Mi Pueblo!
