Fajitas
#7 - 2 enchiladas and chalupa
Four enchilada combo; dos con queso, dos con res... stick with the queso until they upgrade the beef.
Torta Lengua
This place is amazing!

So Javier seated us and immediately figured us as former SoCal folks. My Spanish is too Mexican and my comfort level around the great cuisine of Baja California is a dead giveaway. Chips are standard and hiuse salsa is underwhelming. Ask for the spicy - that has a proper jalapeño punch to it. Well worth the sweat beads on your forehead. Wife and I got enchiladas - beef and cheese - and the wee ones got beef tacos. So here's my review: the food is 3-stars, the service 5-stars, and the potential is solid 4-stars. While the enchilada sauce was very good, the Kroger-esque ground beef was meh. The cheese enchiladas were very good, but mozzarella cheese on the tacos was just ... not Mexican. Post-COVID, restaurants like this are paying premium food costs for sub par products, so I get it. Charge more, reduce portions, expect patience from clients until this reopening evens out. I see this place rising above its remote, out-of-downtown Bardstown location if it survives 2021. We'd like to come back here, but I hope they add some Vicente Fernandez or Los Bukis on the speakers, and lose the honky salsa. We'd gladly pay more than these rock bottom prices if it kept a good Mex place open. I like Mi Lindo. I hope i like it better next month when we try it again.

First time trying this place out. I didn't even know about it until I saw someone post a nasty review about the workers on one of our county pages. So I knew I had to try it and make my own assumptions. And I absolutely loved it. The staff is super friendly. Very authentic Mexican food. I got the 2 enchiladas and chalupa. Never had a chalupa and didn't know what to expect. Wasn't my favorite but that's because I'm more of a burrito girl. Over all great service and delicious food. I will be returning!

No reviews here but saw some on google so we figured we'd try. Nice, clean place, with a small grocery in back. We're always on the lookout for more traditional Mexican fare, and this somewhat fit the bill. Menu had the usual American go-to's, but also had tortas, street tacos and decent homemade guacamole. The Lengua torta was fantastic, guacamole was solid, and burritos/chimis/enchiladas were more standard. Excellent red and tomatillo salsas upon request too.Restaurant wasn't crowded since it was a Sunday night, and service was fast and friendly. Will definitely return as we enjoy places like this more than the standard places like La Herradura and El Molcajete.

If you're looking for a place that serves good Mexican food, you've found it. Recently moved to the area and looked for new places to try. Was disappointed that the majority of places in the area were a let down and did not meet expectations in quality of food. However, this place was seriously good. Carne Asada and Shrimp dishes were very good! Everything from the meat to the vegetables to the tortillas was amazing. Reminded me of a restaurant I used to eat at in my old town! Definitely will be returning.

I don't know how this place gets a 3 stars average. I've been to this place a dozen times, and had DoorDash bring it to me at least a couple dozen times on top of that. I've always found the food and the staff to be the best in Bardstown. Maybe it's a little too authentic for some folks, I don't know. I do know they have an incredible ceviche, as well as the best fajitas I've ever had. Awesome nachos, and the standard salsa is amazing. If you, like me, want some heat in your salsa, add your own heat, to the exact level you like. You won't find friendlier, more eager to please staff at any other place in town. Don't forget to check the super cool little store, at the back of the restaurant. That's about all I have to say about this place. I consider this place to be a true Bardstown treasure, on par with everybody's favorite Asian restaurant, Umami.

Terrible food and even worse service. Food was ice cold. No one came back to check on us or ask how the food was. Very disappointed.
