Fast, friendly, and easy lunch! I love Mi Casita for a quick and easy lunch downtown. I hate it's located a little further away from my office, but it's on Fourth Street - past Fourth Street Live. It's a huge restaurant that has many tables and can accommodate larger parties. I've dined here a handful of times and it always hits the spot. I usually order a lunch combo, which comes out extremely quick. Would recommend for a tasty fast lunch!

The service was attentive and good. The tortilla chips tasted as if they were a year old and tasted like plastic storage containers. I ordered the recommended carnitas tacos. Good flavor but drowning of marinade. Final comment is there are too many good restaurants to go back and try unless I'm restricted for some reason.

My first time here and it was a bit disappointing. It was an early dinner (6pm) and the minute we walked in I felt hot inside. There is no A/C running in this place. But still I thought to give it a shot. There were few people at the bar and maybe another couple at a booth. Our server was very unimpressed with our visit. Barely did eye contact. We felt not welcome. We placed our drink order and the drinks were just ok. In addition to waters-which we never got. Our cheese dip was cold and asked for another-which was a lot better. Chips were close to be stale. Our food was average. My chicken was heavily seasoned and the pico de gallo had no flavor. The rice was dried and flavorless. Unfortunately, not the experience I was looking for.

Great place to go for lunch with coworkers downtown. We were seated right away from the nice hostess, and our waiter quickly took our drink and food orders. There are a lot of tables and seats. We got the complimentary chips and salsa and the chips were very good and crispy. I like that they give everyone their own small bowl for the fresh salsa! They had an enchilada lunch special that some of my coworkers got and they said that it was very good. I got the chicken fajita salad off of the lunch menu and it was outstanding. The chicken was cooked perfectly and it was so flavorful. The lettuce and veggies were all fresh and delightful. It was a big salad so no room for dessert. We will be back.

Friday night dinner at 5 PM for a party of 8 prior to a concert at the nearby Louisville Palace Theater. Service was fast and efficient with drink orders being filled and entrees delivered table side rather fast. Table size was ample to accommodate our group without feeling cramped or crowded. We had to request ice water, as it was not automatically offered. I had a 16 Oz frozen margarita which was refreshingly delicious, garnished with an orange slice, and arrived in a substantially heavy glass goblet that retained the cold temperature. A 24 Oz version was also available. Whew! Several of us ordered the chili relleno entree which featured 2 cheese-stuffed peppers, rice, refried beans, and mixed lettuces and tomatoes. It was a lot of food and too much for me to handle in one sitting, but quite tasty. Appearance and presentation was epic. We did have a bit of a snafu near the end with receiving accurate checks and making payments to expedite our exit, but the waitstaff corrected it and we were on our way. Ambience was nice other than dishes being brought out periodically to various tables via a clattering rolling metal cart over the concrete floor, which was quite jarring and abruptly halted any sort of conversation. THAT needs to be replaced ASAP. Would be happy to return in the future. Price and value were on target.

Everything was really good . Plenty of tables inside as well as bar seating where my coworkers and I sat. Complimentary chips and salsa were very good . A choice of spicy or mild salsa, both were great. $8 margaritas are very good and strong . I'm an enchiladas girl, can't go wrong . the beef enchiladas were so good. red sauce had a nice kick and amazing flavor , refried beans were amazing , rice was great . 5 stars I loved it . Very busy restaurant and it didn't take long for our food at all. Elena was our server and she was very attentive . Can't wait to return when i'm in town

Clean and spacious restaurant that received me with a smile and kind greeting. All the servers and host were welcoming of my friend and I, bringing our food with a positive energy. The food was great; we ordered the new Aguachiles on salsa verde, the queso fundido chicken appetizer, the pollo loco, and the quesadilla rolls. All were tasty, but my favorite were the quesadilla rolls and second the pollo loco. The rolls are fried spectacularly, thin but crunchy to the bite, with flavor coming from the melted cheese with the chicken inside. For the pollo loco I tried it with the mole salsa on the side and it was delicious. Those two items I'd recommend most!
