EL RINCON MEXICAN RESTAURANT : The establishment boasted a pleasant decor and provided outstanding service. They have a patio and interior that can accommodate many. Upon visiting with my family on a Friday evening, we found it quiet with a sparse crowd. Generally, the food was satisfactory. The salsa, which included onions and cilantro, was a highlight. The plantains, cooked to a golden brown and featuring a soft interior, were equally impressive. The quesadilla, generously filled with cheese, made the toddler ecstatic. Both the rice and meat were well-prepared, with the rice tasting authentic and the meat being well-seasoned and not overly cooked. While the mango margaritas were enjoyable, they are not ranked in others I've had. However only disappointments were the corn tortillas, in appearance and texture, and the refried beans lacked texture, which isn't our preference. Nonetheless, I would return to sample another entree or a plate of plantains.

It may not look like much from the outside but the inside is warm, clean and welcoming! The food was very good and the service was top tier. It was a nice walk from the Holiday Inn to main strausse and this little gem. Looking forward to a return visit.

Food is NOT very good. I ordered a pork and pineapple enchilada and there was only 1 small tidbit of a pineapple. When I mentioned it to the waitress she said that it's in there and did nothing about it. Frustrating. Will not be going back. Nobody else in our group of 4 enjoyed their meal either.

This is your typical Mexican restaurant. Large menu (that includes breakfast!) with lots of different items. You'll definitely be able to find something to satisfy your appetite. Food is okay, not bad by any means, but not great. I got three tacos (steak and barbacoa) and they were satisfying, but not omg amazing. Service is excellent and I really enjoyed sitting outside on their large patio. They only offer one size of margaritas, but have several different flavor options and frozen as well, and they are strong!

This place was walking distance from our hotel and we were craving Mexican food. It's a fairly small(ish) menu but everything on it looked good and it's plenty of variety for what it is. The tacos to me seemed the way to go so I loaded up with a selection of each (sad they were out of al pastor but so it goes). Each taco I had was delicious and the margarita was STRONG and good.Salsa had good flavor and while hot the tortilla chips were a tad on the stale side but good nonetheless.

As residents of Mainstrasse it took us far too long to try this restaurant. We went on a pleasantly warm spring evening, so we were able to enjoy sitting outside. They were very busy, and service was a little on the slow side, but we were in no hurry, so we didn't mind. I stuck with classic chicken quesadillas and they were flavorful and well stuffed. My fiancé ordered the supreme burrito and loved it. Many of the menu items were all in Spanish so the next time we visit we want to be more adventurous and try something new.

I remember the last time I came here, I remember the food being kind of average and the service was great. This time was kind of the opposite experience, but still a 4-star review! First off, our server was SO incredible kind and apologetic about the slow service. It was clear that they were understaffed. We sat out front on a cool night and had margaritas and people-watched. The jalapeno margarita was delightful as was the ambiance. There was adequate social distancing and the outdoor seating was great. The food tasted SO fresh! It was remarkable better than I remembered it tasting the last time. Everything was delightful and they definitely made an impression. When it came time to get a check, it took quite a long time (20 mins?). Regardless, the good food and kind staff will keep me coming back. I can't wait for the next excuse I have to order another giant jalapeno margarita!

Remember that German restaurant in Mainstrasse? Now it's a Mexican restaurant! When you walk in you are transported to what still looks like German Haus of Bier but with cantina music playing in the background and a futbol game playing on the old, historic fireplace. It's definitely bizarre, but I love it. The waitstaff is extremely sweet and make one hell of a margarita. Be warned, they are sweet, but we were told that they cut the sweetness with more liquor, so I'm more than okay with that. The salsa and chips are addicting, per usual, but nothing out of the world. Their burrito, though? Prepare for leftovers because this thing is a certified food baby. Their made in-house verde and hot sauce is SO good, and if you don't get the burrito the chicken quesadilla won't disappoint.A fun experience. Gather your crew, order a strawberry marg, and let the strange German vs. Mexican ambiance take over you.

So prepare to add up to 50% on top of whatever menu prices they have listed. Apparently somebody "made a mistake" when printing the menu so that the prices just so happen to say they're cheaper than they really are. However, nobody informs you of this, you just have to find out for yourself when you're given the check for significantly more than what you expected. This especially goes for their mixed drinks. Apparently, the prices they have listed for margs, piña coladas, etc., are only for the non-alcoholic versions, even though it doesn't say non-alcoholic anywhere, nor do they even have any other prices listed if there was supposed to be a difference. Because that makes sense.Shady place, stay away.
