Meltdown

I've been following meltdown ice cream in Bowling Green for the last few months. They went from a food truck to a brick and mortar space in downtown. They've had incredible flavors that are offered on their Instagram page that are constantly being rotated out. We finally got to go and it was right before St. Patrick's Day. The options were very festive and included. A lucky charms option along with salted pretzel, and cookies and cream. Every single flavor we tried was incredible. The ice cream is rich, thanks to the utilization of JD's milk and the ambience of an old school ice cream parlor is very much appreciated. I can't wait to go back and try more flavors.

The friendliest staff around. All smiles. Great find. Tasty flavors of very creamy ice cream. We had cookies and cream & peanut butter and jam. Nice old diner vibe with old time music playing. We will definitely be back for more.

Really cute place in the city center! I got the choco-orange flavored shake and it was delicious. The service was also very friendly. Will definitely stop by again if I am ever in Bowling Green again.

Nice little shop to stop in while promenading around the square. I had to have the dairy free coconut ice cream. It was a good alternative.

Friendly and informative. Gives yummie tastes before you decide what to enjoy. Nice old space on the Square. You can eat in or go over to the park across the street.

First time visiting this awesome ice cream shop. I had the Cookies and Cream. It was absolutely delicious and creamy. I got a blondie to-go, but ended up eating it at the shop. It was wonderful! The staff are all very friendly! Would definitely recommend this place!!

The ice cream was incredible and they offer tasting samples before ordering. We got 2 flavors (cannoli and lemon meringue) and they were both great; the waffle cone was also good. Staff was friendly and in addition to ice cream, they sell some candies and baked goods (and lactaid, for those who need it). Cute shop, would recommend!
