My family visited the antique mall and I was able to see more of it than I knew existed. The more I walked through, the more intrigued I became and I will definitely be back. Some of the areas are unreal - just stuffed and almost impossible to see what's in the booth or touch it. My favorite surprise was an area full of gargoyle molds which were incredibly priced, not to mention tough to find. I will be going back to pick up a few splurges for myself. Value will vary in the eye of the shopper. I feel confident most anyone will find an item they could take home. Shopping is on your own. Associates are at the desk downstairs. Rooms are nicely marked because you would get lost if you were not a frequent visitor. BOOK PLENTY OF TIME TO ENJOY! It's a huge shop. Plenty of parking is available at Mellwood, either the main lot or across the street, depending on the crowd.

This place was fantastic. We went with some friends on Monday, they like antiquing and were looking for some decor and possibly furniture for their new basement bar.The antique mall reminded me of IKEA a bit - it kept going and going. It's technically individual sellers but there is only one cashier, near the entrance. I ended up buying a vintage Ford (Louisville plant) tie clip, from 1960 - my husband works at Ford so I thought it was cool, and also a postcard from Holland, MI, which was also very interesting. Our friends bought some paintings and other things for their basement bar. There is everything from jewelry, to old political campaign buttons, to vintage Tupperware here, and more, so even if you don't technically need anything, it is very fun to browse. They also have a bathroom, which was useful, since we spent about 2 hours here.I would definitely come back when in Louisville, my guess is that the inventory constantly changes and refreshes.

As i was traveling to Indiana, i had researched antiques in Louisville so i could stop on my trip. This was the mall i decided to visit. Did not disappoint. It was HUGE. Must be the biggest mall i have ever visited. The store has maps posted all over so you can see where you actually are. It is like walking through a maze of antiques. Wide variety of antiques, jewelry, collectibles, rugs, furniture etc... Wide range of prices-at least 100 vendors. Would definitely return if ever in Louisville again! I did manage to pick up a few things-including 2 very old foreign books.

This spot is minutes from my house and expansive as all get out but somehow flew under my radar until very recently. Mellwood Antiques & Interiors seems to take up the whole lower floor and then some of the Mellwood Art Center. It just goes on and on and on. My mother-in-law, daughter and I went on a recent weekend to check it out, and after being there for 45 minutes or so, we left but got the feeling that there was still much more to see. Like other antique markets, this one is set up with booths for different vendors, so if you find one with your style, you might find a few things you'd like to take home with you.On our visit, we saw furniture (mostly antique and farmhouse, though some MCM mixed in), rugs, art, knicknacks, small collectibles, jewelry, antique toys and other odds and ends. I picked up some antique Kentucky-themed sheet music for $8 that I'd like to frame for my house. The prices ranged. Some pieces seemed a bit overpriced, but you can likely find something good for your price range. Some other facts to know going in:* There will be a pic of an item on the board when you walk in. If you find it, take a pic and show the clerk. You'll be entered in a giveaway for a gift card.* Orders must be over $10 to use a credit card.* We saw a food truck parked out front. Maybe you can luck into lunch and shopping! If you like digging for treasure, this is definitely your place to check out!

Very fun trip here! First time coming and it won't be our last. Dog friendly and Chloe enjoyed finding her doppelgänger on a pillow. Plan to spend a couple of hours to see everything.

Phenomenal selection of gorgeous antiques and very kind staff. However, the building is in a former industrial facility with obvious mold issues. My husband and I shopped for about 45 minutes, but had to leave after developing splitting headaches.

one of the bigger flea market / antique mall locations in the area. always fun to browse even if the booths lean away from my age demographic and style (young, hip lol)
