Mazerella's Upper Crust Pizza & Pasta

Food was warm but flavor was lacking. We had it delivered and the service was good. If you're looking for flavor in spaghetti then go elsewhere.

Wife and I decided to dine at Mazerella's today for first time. We missed the buffet by about 45 minutes. Wish we would have known there was a buffet. It came with bread sticks and a drink for $11. Wife and I ordered a medium combo pie for about $16 plus tax and no drinks. The dining room has zero ambiance, but it is very clean. The staff is friendly and 2 women were cleaning during our visit.The pizza has a nice crust, tasty tomato sauce, cheese and toppings. Wifey liked the pizza well and even ate the crust which she doesn't normally do. She said the crust tasted like soft bread. I usually eat the crust and would agree with crust being soft. We like it enough to come back and try other pizzas on the buffet. I found out they put just about every pizza out on the buffet and have a Military discount.

This is our favorite local pizza place, hands down.We have never been to the restaurant, only had takeout or delivery, but we have become regulars. We love this place! We've tried the pizza (thin crust is our favorite), the spaghetti, lasagna, calzone, subs, breadsticks and cheese sticks. So far the pizza, spaghetti and breadsticks (or cheese sticks) are the winners, though it's all been good. When they were still open in Indiana, we used to get Wicks' Tuesday night special and order several baked spaghettis for the family. You could choose toppings (mine was sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms), with marina sauce and then baked mozzarella and/or Parmesan cheese on top. Well, Mazerella's tastes like that--it's delish! And don't get me started on the pizza...the thin crust is perfect, not chewy, and really crispy at the edge. The cheese is layered on thick, it has the perfect amount of sauce, and the toppings are grade A. It all goes right to the edge and has great flavor with every bite. Tip: if you order other toppings on the spaghetti, they don't put cheese on it, so you would need to order that as an extra topping if you want it.Try the pizza--you won't regret it!

Hands down a great thin crust pizza with fantastic toppings and cheese. This pizza place is more a take out type, but they do have some tables. It's NOT fancy! But it's good. We'll come again.

I am a big fan of The Big Z pizza (sans anchovies). Now that I've moved away, I miss it terribly and make an effort to get one when I visit the area.I have only gotten take-out, but the people at the counter have always been very nice.There appears to be a good amount of family-friendly seating available.

My favorite local owned pizza place in the southern Indiana area. Thin crust style is my favorite. Humble and plain inside. Always happy with my pizza, perfect ratio of meat, cheese and sauce and baked just right.

Mazerella's upper crust is a pizzeria located in the small town of Sellersburg Indiana in a small east to miss shopping center at a wicked road split intersection. I was out with my one year old meeting someone in town to buy my oldest daughter a present from someone online. After I secured her a new pair of doc martens I went to Yelp to find a nearby pizza place. This place popped up and had great Reviews and was nearby. So off we went. We arrived on a Thursday around quarter after noon. We walk in and nobody else was in the small dining area. I could see in the back that this place does have a lunch pizza buffet (score!). I approach the counter and the guy says "buffet". I go "yes for two and can the baby have a drink too". Worker says "no charge for her and don't worry about the drink and handed me two cups and said $8.50". So really good pricing for a buffet that includes your drinks with unlimited refills. The buffet had a separate salad bar that was much more extensive then I would have guessed. I picked up some pepperonis, mushrooms, shredded cheese and items for the baby to go along with her slice of pizza I was gonna grab from the pizza area. They have Pepsi drinks on fountain (including diet mt dew/score again!) next to the pizza portion. The pizza portion was smaller but had all kinds of flavors. They had id say around 6 different options that included the classic pizza flavors and some other things like a supreme and bbq chicken. To the left of the pizza stood two bowls with garlic knots and cinnamon knots. Me and my daughter sampled the buffet pretty well. All the pizza was fresh and had good taste to them. Was warm and even though I was the only customer that day they kept servicing the buffet as if the place was packed. Overall we had a great visit. My one year threw down all kinds of food. She cleared two big plates and was enjoying the food with a smile on her face and a look of determination in her eyes. The service was good and so was the pizza. $8.50 for an all you can eat and drink pizza buffet that also has a salad bar? Yeah, you can't beat that. I'm not on Sellersburg often but if I am I'll keep this place in mind for a repeat visit for sure.

Highly recommend Mazerella's Pizza! The staff is really nice and helpful. The pizza is delicious. Be sure to grab some garlic butter - it's not homemade, but it's amazing. I tried the Zesty Grilled Chicken Salad with ranch dressing for the first time and I will drive back to Mazerella's just to order it again because it was THAT good. It was fresh, had all my favorite toppings, and a load of bacon. It even came with 6 "baby breadsticks" that were also delicious!

Gabriel was very helpful in my decisions. The new cheesecake was delicious. Pizza amazing. Glazer's amazing. Staff was all younger, and everyone of them were very respectful, kind, helpful. Thank you gentlemen. The place was very clean, including the restroom. We will be returning. FYI get the icing!! Yes we love Pepperoni and Pineapples. I know you looked.
