Mark's Feed Store

My hubby and I just love this bbq restaurant. I have said once and I will say it again. Mark's is the best bbq in town. Their sauces are signature sauces. Needless to say they pair well with their meats. The pulled pork is the ONLY way to go. Although, you can't go wrong with of their meats. When you order the baskets two sides go with the sandwiches. The sides are also their own with a spin with recipes and spices. I would also like to recommend the best server in town. That is Dyan she always gives her all. Your glass is never empty and she makes sure that your visit is enjoyable. I want to make sure I say thank you to the manager Bobbie. The restaurant was extremely busy yet she checked in on all the customers. So when you have a choice of BBQ restaurants pick Mark's Feed Store on Dixie Highway.

Found Hair in my food. The onion straws were WAY too oily.. Tasted like I drank a cup of used fry oil. The chicken tenders are INEDIBLE! My Grandchildren would NOT eat them. Way too expensive for what you get.. The staff is very nice and apologized for any issues we had.

I ordered my food through uber eats. Got wrong item. Sides were missing and very disappointed. Called restaurant and they immediately blamed the uber driver. Said he took them out. Girl claimed to be manager was very condescending and insensitive. Was quick to point out their bags are not tamper proof sealed (I thought it was mandatory) and it was all Ubers fault. This is bad enough but to ise it as a crutch to blame a driver that I per know and my house is less than 2 minutes from their restaurant... don't pee on my leg and tell me it is raining. I am in wheelchair, have cancer and no longer get to eat out was looking so forward to this meal. I ordered platter so I should have had 2 sides. Said I had to call uber (you can't). Reported problem in uber. Got $4 refund. Side was more expensive than that. Sad thing is I had someone here that could have driven up to get my correct order. All I wanted to do was have a good meal. But during to the rudeness and unwillingness of this manager my meal was ruined. It went in the toilet I couldn't keep it down. Thank you for ruining a disabled cancer patient's day. I want everyone to see you don't seal your meals (unsafe practice) so you vanish blame the uber driver for your lack of attention to detail and accuracy of your order. I will be calling corporate office on this one. Inexcusable!!!

Not a bad barbecue place. Came here because I was in town for business. I got the brisket sandwich lunch special with potato salad Very good food and nice staff too.

No complaints! Great dinner at this BBQ spot on a Wednesday night. Our server was divine, so nice and hospitable. As a first time patron I asked for the popular dishes and was told the fish was popular and highly recommended. I was a bit confused, fish...at a BBQ place, in KY.... My confusion turned into intrigue and I took the recommendation.Yum is the best word to describe. When I say this fish was perfectly prepared, I mean perfect. Light, fluffy white fish with crispy breading and they don't skimp on the portion size either. There were a dozen side items to chose from, I selected the homemade house fries and coleslaw- fabulous!I was so happy with the meal I over indulged with a slice of pie. Oh my sugar, that was worth the calories. Awesome experience for casual dinning, great food, service and atmosphere.

Very homey bbq spot west of Louisville with very good bbq! Walked in to the smokey aroma in the air. Started with wings (crispy coating) and onion straws which were both good. They were able to accommodate a gluten sensitivity by baking fish fillet instead of frying....greatly appreciated! Other meals of salmon burger (nice smoke) and bbq dinner were excellent....ribs were fall of the bone! Big thanks to Morgan for providing great service!

Solid. Good flavors, hearty portions, and a decent BBQ fix. Worth a visit for a satisfying BBQ meal. Loved the hot honey chicken!

Stopped in today for lunch while out running errands. Cindy was our server and she was amazing! She suggested appetizers and kept our drinks full, checked back at the right times. The biggest impact for me with this restaurant was that the FOH manager was actually checking on the guests to make sure that they were having a great experience. Great job!
