Maria's Tacos

Fantastic. Got the huevos rancheros and will be returning to try more of the menu. Very authentic Mexican and I loved discovering this place. They open earlier than other Mexican restaurants on Sunday, so breakfast was perfect

Honestly, Maria's was a 2nd choice for tamales after I realized El Mercadito wasn't serving them that day. I am thankful for the diversion because this place is amazing! I ordered Mexican rice for three and a half dozen pork tamales to go, and my friends and I were wowed by our dinner! The tamales were perfect - the red pork filling was so full of flavor with the right ratio of masa to meat. Writing this review, I've already decided I need to pick up another order today. Would love to try some other things on the menu as well - this place seems like the real deal for authentic Mexican. Was also excited to see that they offer all kinds of fresh juices as well. Highly recommended.

If you are in the mood for Mexican food, there are lots of options on Eastern Boulevard in Clarksville. Maria's Tacos may be a small place, but they have no problem competing with the larger restaurants. I'm not usually a carnitas taco kinda gal, but decided to give them a try and I was not disappointed. The shells were packed with lots of flavorful meat and just the right amount of onions & cilantro for my taste. And the tamales. Best. Tamales. Ever. At least as far as I'm concerned. These weren't your frozen, thawed and heated up tamales. These were served in corn husks, and didn't have that 'corn meal-y' taste that some other restaurant's tamales have. I am already looking forward to my text tamale run.They don't serve the traditional chips & salsa. Rather, they have chips & dip (queso). The chips were fried to order, and plentiful. The queso was the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. It was a bit bland, and very thin. So thin that it didn't want to cling to the chips. I did find out that the menu will be changing soon (no time frame given). I would like to see campichano tacos added, but that's just me. If whatever gets added is as good as what is on the menu now, I will be a happy (repeat) customer.

this is my number 1 taco place its right next to ENP if you know you know and has the best tacos i ever had go and try them i promis it wont disapoint un like my speling :)
