Major Munch

Their burgers are so delish, the only downside is their hours, they close too early!! Please have evening hours!!! People are hungry!!!

I've heard really good things about the burgers from this joint so I thought I'd swing by on my lunch break and check it out. It is located within a small strip with a few other businesses. They share a large parking lot so plenty of places to park. When I walked in to order there was a small line but it was moving pretty quickly. They have a few tables if you wish to stay there and dine in. You go to the counter and place your order and are given a number to wait for your food. They have lemonade, tea as well as canned sodas for their drinks. They have a few sandwich options, hamburgers, chicken, Phillies and some seafood. I went with the Buffalo chicken sandwich and fries. They do not have a restroom here for guests but I was told i could go across the parking lot to a public building and was given specific instructions where the restroom was. Once I returned it only took a couple minutes longer for my food to be ready. My sandwich was pretty good. The chicken was hot and crispy. The Buffalo sauce could've been a bit more spicy in my opinion. The fries were just ok. Service was great. I'll definitely go back to try a burger sometime.

OMG! That was the most delicate, delicious, tender and tasty catfish....I have ever eaten! Seriously good! Onion rings and okra good too. I took it back to my hotel, so not a great picture. (Jalapeño not included)

Talk about a great find. I know for a fact I will be back soon to try more of the menu. Hospitality was amazing and food was even better. 10/10 Don't forget to try their different sauces!

First time we visited Major Munch today, near the old Post Office in Evansville. Great service. I didnt feel pressured to order a certain thing. She did recommended a couple of things that were popular. Joey got the Steak Philly [not pictured] and I got a cheeseburger with crinkle cut fries. Joey originally wanted chicken Philly and they were out, later the cook came out and said he made one for us to take home then he asked if we had tried the fry sauce. It. Was. Amazing!!!

Food was good. Very limited seating. Employees tried to keep up and clean the table. Good burger

Not much of an ambiance, but the staff was very friendly and the menu had nice options. Our son had chicken strips which had a different coating on them and he really enjoyed them. My husband and I shared the catfish po-boy and it was phenomenal!!! An absolute MUST ORDER!!! It was perfect with the side of fries.

Came here for lunch my first time here and will never return. The woman taking our order was really rude she was definitely not a people person she shouldn't be dealing with customers if she doesn't know how to speak. Then I notice we were the only people of color and it all clicked. Will not recommend

Their hours are limited. The inside doesn't look like much. But their burgers are outstanding! Cool hole-in-the wall joint. I had the mushroom burger combo. Smashed patty was excellent seasoned. Fries were crispy. What a hidden jem!

Great hole in the wall lunch spot. Chicken was phenomenal! Old timey diner themed. Definitely need to try a burger next!
