Main Street Cafe

I went for breakfast, my first time there. I like crisp bacon, but this was very crisp. To much grease for me and the restaurant was cold. I only took my coat off, as I didn't want to get egg yoke on it. Food was good, but to much grease for me. No decaf coffee. I was disappointed.

Most of the food is horribly greasy. When I went in, I thought the air conditioner was broken, but I soon learned that the owner is just too cheap to use it. Instead there are fans all over the place which don't help do anything but pull the heat from the kitchen out into the seating area. It would be one thing if I were the only one there, but (being the only restaurant open in town at the time) the place was packed.It's well worth the extra trip to Ft. Branch or Princeton to eat.

Stopped here for breakfast hoping for a good small town diner. Was totally wrong. One look at the menu and i wanted to leave. Prices were through the roof! Ordered the biscuits and gravy since it was the only reasonably priced item. Frozen biscuits and gravy from a bag. Wish id had just stopped at caseys gas station for a breakfast pizza. Will not return and advise others to find somewhere else to eat as well.
