There are so many markets (with vendors selling their goods) out there, but you will not find one more highly curated than Made Market. Local and regional makers bring the goods for this market, which has been held at a variety of places. They typically do a summer market for a day and a holiday market for a day, so mark your calendar!Jams, succulents, artwork, greeting cards, jewelry, clothes, candles, housewares, and all sorts of things... Made Market has it. I love buying stuff for myself AND for loved ones. Keep an eye on their social media pages for dates and announcements. (Note: they currently do these in Louisville and in Grand Rapids, MI.)

I love to support our local artisans and makers so I was excited when I heard about Made Market. The concept of a pop-up indoor market filled with little "shops" run by local makers is genius. The location, central, but not so downtown as to create a parking nightmare was great. The food selection was just right. I do wish that the vendors had been curated better. The market was fairly small, which is fine as long as there is a lot of variety. There wasnt. For example, I'm fairly certain that at least six vendors were selling notecards in varying sizes with text/quotes on them. I still spent plenty of money at the Market and I'll attend again in the future. I just hope the organizers work toward diversifying the selection of goods.

Started my busy Saturday at this really great indoor pop-up craft market. I am so thankful that the market was indoors, it seems most events during the summer are held outdoors and many of us cannot do outdoors in the summer heat! There were at least 70 vendors with unique crafts with something for every taste. This was a great event to buy unique wedding, birthday or other gifts or even to do some early Christmas shopping; of course treating oneself is also totally acceptable (and I may or may not have done just that!) On display were beautiful hand-drawn note cards, macramé plant hangers and wall art, carved and polished wooden items, skin care products, candles, jewelry and much, much more. A favorite vendor of mine was Branded Collective, whose items are designed and crafted by survivors of human trafficking. There was a variety of foods trucks outside the venue that were very busy. The event space was large and accommodated the artists very well. Of interest, one half of the room was horribly hot (full sweat!) while the other side had great AC, that blew down from the top and made those aisles comfortable. Parking is plentiful across the road from the event center. If you missed this Made Market, watch out for the next one; I was told there would be another in the late fall!

Got here first thing in the morning, and I am glad we did, for it got busy! (It was super cool to get a Yelp swag bag too, for being part of the first 100 people!)We were greeted by awesome individuals with the "Made Market" t-shirts on. They led us to the main area where are the shops were set up. The space is really nice and big, if anything, I wish it were a bit bigger! All the booths were amazing and the people who crafted whatever they were selling were super polite and helpful! It was so interesting to hear about how they got into what they were selling. As for the booths and their wares, there were handmade post cards, prints, plant holders, art work, leather purses, jewelry, baby clothes, and many more! My boyfriend ended up getting some handmade post cards, which were super cute! Even though I didn't purchase anything personally, I definitely took business cards for later! They also have food trucks set up outside, where you can grab sushi, Cuban, ice cream or coffee. I couldn't stay for long to partake, but I know they will be super busy later!Overall, this was a cool event to go and support local artisans! I loved seeing how busy it was getting, and just seeing people who worked so hard get their products sold and being able to share their passion and love of their craft. If you can't make it today, it looks like there will be 3 more pop up shops later! Try and check them out then! I've known Jordan with Thistle & Thread for years--she made my niece a stuffed elephant for her first Christmas. She and a friend decided to start another indoor market for vendors. The response by the public was honestly overwhelming--the first 100 people were in by 10:10am!The variety of vendors seemed a bit lacking as there were more household things than anything else, but the quality was top notch. From needlepoint to gorgeous paper flowers that should appear next Derby on fascinators. I smelled amazing candles and saw note cards based on artwork that would make amazing gifts. They will be back Oct 1, Nov 5, and Dec 9-10th. Mark your calendar as this is a don't miss!

For it being the first time for Made Market, it was a total success. Great location and vibe all around, with unique craft artists and food trucks from all over Louisville, Made Market is the perfect place to find a gift for yourself or a loved one. We got there right before the big rush, so we were in and out in a decent amount of time. My only complaint is that I wish there were multiple days for the market and more artists available, but I believe they are fixing this for the next ones in the Fall and Winter.I'm excited to go again and get some more original works of art, great job guys!

Pictures a friends apartment who tried really hard to decorate for a Christmas party but all they had was decorations they found at garage sales. And the drinks are a little pricey but the cocktails are fun and festive. With that being said it's always a fun crowd and a good time

It is the place to go for a one of a kind gift. The market was bigger than last year, but I would suggest better lighting and more variety. There were too many candle vendors and not enough food vendors. Notable vendors were the The New BLK. I also enjoyed buying home made flavored nut butters and Beer Syrup and the Anchal project. We love coming to this event every year.

Here is my review. There is a line. I waited at least 5 minutes to get in. I went in with eager anticipation. I walked out with complete disappointment. It's a large room packed with vendors and patrons. I was hoping to purchase something unique and nice to take home with me. After walking around the large room for less than 5 minutes, I left. I felt that I wasted my time coming here.

There were some great vendors here today. So many cool things! I wish there had been more though. Also maybe spread it out a bit; seemed a bit crowded. Overall it was awesome and I got some great finds!
