Mad Mike's Burgers & Fries

Awesome little local joint. Fries are fresh and burgers are delicious/ original. Friendly staff and fair prices. Like 5 guys but cheaper.

I'm on a mission to find the best burger in the Cincinnati area, so my wife and I tried Mad Mike's last week. We didn't realize it was more fast-food style, rather than sit down, but as long as the food is good, there's nothing wrong with that.My wife and I were both eyeing the Rockefeller. She went for it, and I decided to get the Pride of Zeus, so that we could try two different burgers, and we also got a large fry to split.The fries were pretty good, nice and crispy, but a bit under seasoned. The Pride of Zeus was good, but nothing outstanding. Maybe there wasn't enough contrast--not really any crunch to the sandwich, and not really any sweet, spicy, or bitter elements that made the burger kind of one-note.The Rockefeller on the other hand, was quite tasty. Blue cheese added sourness, the mango chutney added sweetness, cilantro mayo added richness, onion strings added a bit of crunch and saltiness; overall more of a balanced sandwich and definitely the favorite from both of us.

One of the best burgers I've had in a while! The service was awesome and fast and they were very kid friendly. It's an order at the window and pick your own seat set up.

Stinking delicious! We didn't know what to expect. It's a low key casual spot for burgers and fries. I ordered the mad Cali with fries. The burger was huge, and the fries portion was generous. It's an order and pick up at the counter spot and the staff were super nice.

Walked here from Covington because of the great reviews. Housed in a quaint old corner building, the restaurant is small and cool looking. Service was immediate and friendly. I ordered the "Shroomin" burger with mad fries.The burger was fresh, hot and tasty. Not the greatest I've had, but it got the job done. The fries were absolutely drowning in cheese, topped with grilled onions.It was a satisfying meal. My only complaint was the fries were rather limp. With all that cheese, the fries need to thicker and crispier.I'd eat here again. But I believe next time I'd go with onion rings or fried mushrooms.

Fast, friendly service! Food was hot and fresh! Place was super clean and was walking distance from our Airbnb!

Great service and great burgers! Ashamed that I've lived in the area for so long and only recently made my first visit (carry out). The burger was delicious and the fries were as well. The man working the counter was friendly and helpful. Inside was quite nice and next time I will try eating in. I usually have good luck with metered street parking in this area but there are a couple of surface lots nearby. It's a good value too, their prices don't seem to have increased the way similar fast-casual and sit-down spots have. My new favorite burger spot in the area- give them a try!

Only place where you can still get a loaded burger for 5 dollars. Delicious,fresh, and fast. Never have had an issue with an order or request and if I ask for toppings. They load it up

Food was amazing cheaper than fast food and 100x the quality. Service was friendly and pleasant. And the place was clean and surprisingly roomy. I had the Goliath burger and man was I full!

With the wife running Christmas errands and stopped in. Fantastic decision. She had the Shroom and I had the American Outlaw. Both burgers were outstanding as were the fries. To top it off the young woman at the counter was delightful. This is a true burger joint experience, highly recommend. Added bonus, really reasonable prices.
