Mac's Pizza Pub

It's been over 11 years since I've been here and now I'm back with my Mr. since we live nearby. Plus I was wanting to try a new pizza joint so here we are. I forgot how good this place is. They have everything a pub grub would have to offer. Appetizers, Wings, salads, burgers, sandwiches and of course PIZZA! They have their specialty pizzas or you can build your own. They come in three sizes. Additional cost for toppings and also offer gluten free crust. Drink menu is huge especially their craft beer section! Love that they also have a good wine and cocktail as well. We ordered a medium 12 inch build your own pizza. Toppings: mushrooms, ground beef and banana peppers. Their crust is hand tossed. We also ordered 6 Spicy Garlic Wings. Drinks, I got an Malbec to pair with my pizza and my Mr, a pint of leinenkugel's summer shandyWe got our order pretty quick and I was truly impressed with the pizza! Crust was crunchy and love dipping it with the garlic butter sauce (I had to ask for it on the side, can you believe it's vegan?!) the wings made my Mr extra happy. Overall I love this neighborhood bar and grill. Great service and I can't wait to come back and try the French Fry Pie!!!!This place rocks!

Yeah, my lady and I are definitely pizza fans. How could anyone not be? Especially with so many good pizza spots around. Personally I'd have to add this to the list of must-try places. Classic pub-style pizza made great!My lady and I live nearby and have been wanting to try this place for a bit. Finally, on a Saturday afternoon, we did and definitely enjoyed it. The place itself is pretty big with lots of seating, both inside and outside on the patios. Wanna watch the game? There are plenty of big screen TVs around. Their beer selection is quite impressive. They also have a nice wine selection and full bar. Their menu is loaded with lots of classic pub grub options. I had to start with some spicy garlic wings and a pint of Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy. My lady ordered a glass of malbec. We both enjoyed the wings. They had just the right amount of spicy kick, LOTS of garlic, and they were pretty big. As for our pizza, we ordered a 12" with ground beef, mushrooms, and banana peppers (our go-to create your own combo) along with a side of garlic sauce (yeah, we love garlic. No wonder vampires never visit us.). The pizza was VERY delicious. Even the crust was good enough that it didn't need any sauce.Mac's is an excellent pizza spot, bit they're far more than just pizza. Needless to say, my lady and I will be back again to try more of their tasty food and libations.

What a great place! We came for pizza after our first day of pre school. Staff so nice, bathrooms very clean, great food! We will be back. We want to sit outside on our next visit!

Food and service are good, but I am not willing to return for other reasons. Let's just get this out there, and Yelp will likely remove this review shortly after it posts, but this place is gross. It is dirty. It is a dive. Has a dive bar feel rather than a restaurant feel. I was thinking that since this is on the edge of Mariemont it would be nice - it is not. If you do not heed my warning and go here, do not let your eyes wander around the room - food stains on blinds, cobwebs above the door that have been there for five years. Everything feels sticky. Gross. We visited last weekend and we were sweating in the dining room. It must have been in the low to mid 80's. You also risk your life going in / getting out of the one-car wide lane to get back to the parking lot. I will stick with the Blue Ash location.

We stopped at Mac's which is overpriced and rarely has anything but mediocre service. Their food can be good... but you have to get to the point where they you want to wait on you. 6/4/2023It's convenient so we stopped for a draft (hopefully two) at the bar around 5:45 PM on a Sunday afternoon . The bar person was Lizzie. The bar was occupied but not busy. We got our beer after a wait. Lizzie at that point started talking to her girlfriend who was sitting next to us at the bar. For the next 25 minutes they talked about what Lizzie was going to order for supper. She ignored us and then made a production of having to cash out. We were going in with the intention of having supper and enjoying a couple of cold ones. Probably would have spent $60-$70 that night. Someone might say, ask for the manager? Why? If servers typically treat customers like this does anyone really care?BTW: Almost 13 bucks later and we went somewhere else.

The food here is amazing, the cheese is perfectly cooked. Even though I've been in here once, I've seen the service is really good. I've never ate in here, the only place I've been here is the bar to pick up the food. So I would assume that it's normal volume. Yes, it's a sports pizzeria with a bar. So I would assume that's it's at a normal volume.

Pretty good food and drinks. Nice atmosphere to watch some football games. I would recommend this place.

Service was amazing food a little pricey, but very tasty. Brought my crew of three and myself Bill was 100 bucks after tip.

Delicious food and great service! The Macover is highly recommended! We did get a little mini pizza as a starter and it was overly saucy but good. We will be back!

Food is decent... employees could make better clothing choices with sensitive statements that they may find funny, but customers may not. Food was as expected ... decent pub fare. Staff was friendly.
