Lucky Vista Motel

11/3/2017 This was by a long shot the nastiest gross motel I've ever attempted to stay at.If you like third world accommodations this is the place for you.The room was billed as non smoking. There were cigarettes burn marks all over the two end tables, the room smelled like smoke, the bed had human hair, debris, egg sacks in it form insects. The room had dead and live crickets, the small refrigerator was almost frozen shut. The bathroom vanity was 2 inches out from the wall. Dead bugs and spider webs under the bed. The pillow cases had burn hole, blood stains, funky discoloration. You could see the bedspread had not been cleaned in months. The bottom end was dingy.I booked this room at 2:30 PM, never looked at it. Go back to it about 7PM. I was told I could not get my $50 dollars back after 1hour.I had to get a room at a different motel.When the clerk told me her office residence was broken into two earlier my gut to me to leave, but wanting to help small town outfits was in this case a huge mistake.

Very different check in process but the staff was hilarious and accommodating. Room was clean, TV worked, what more do you want for $60/night?

The floors needed mopped and the bathroom cleaned. Dirt and soap ring around the tub. Urine on the commode. Since this was the only place in town with a room, we had to stay. Went to Walmart and bought bleach and cleaned ourself. Bed was hard and pillows were like sleeping on bricks! Had to request towels and wash cloths. Dead bugs in the window.

The hospitality was second to none......super nice people and made our stay great. Rooms are in the process of being updated and will bring this hotel to the for front of places to stay in Campbellsville.

This motel is a JOKE! I had a horrific experience! When I initially 'checked in', the hotel clerk told me there was no key for my room (HUGE red flag!) and that he would have to let me in my room with the master key when I returned. The room had a stinky foul odor. When I returned from the lake (@11:30 pm), the hotel office was closed, no hotel attendant on site, no-one answered the hotel phone, therefore no way at all to get back into my room!! TOTAL INSANITY!! Because of Lucky Vista's ineptitude, I was forced to cancel my weekend retreat with friends at the lake and drive a 3 hour drive back home at 2 am. Getting a refund from Expedia was like pulling teeth, very complicated, and took multiple phone calls over a two day period - Lucky Vista made it more complicated by trying to deny my refund!! CRAZY! I literally spent only 2 minutes in this room, couldn't get back into the room and Lucky Vista wanted to charge me for 2 days! A total nightmare experience! Shocking that a place like this stays in business. This joke motel is totally unprofessionally and incompetently run. I was told by locals that Lucky Vista has gone downhill in recent years since they changed owners/management. I finally got a refund, but this was still a majorly hideous experience on many levels! STAY AWAY from Lucky Vista at all cost!
