If you (or your friends) need a break from bourbon, Lovers Leap may be what you are looking for. It is a beautiful property with plenty of seating inside and outside. The service was great and the wine and peace were exactly what we were looking for. I enjoyed it a lot.

A nice drive in the countryside gets you to Lovers Leap Winery. We enjoyed a tasting of 6 very good wines. The service was excellent & the live music on the patio was very good!

On a whim we went for it, be careful on the drive as there are very little signs pointing you in the right direction and Waze did a terrible job getting us there. Once you break out from the trees the winery is right there. Beautiful sight with vineyards and winery. The building has a nice porch and the inside was cozy. Selene was the employee helping us, wonderful! We did a tasting of 6 wines, all good. We purchased 6 bottles. If we are ever back in this area we will definitely be back.

What a wonderful hidden gem of a winery. It is a bit off the beaten path but well worth it. Their Chardonnay and their Cabernet are both fantastic. Hanging out on the balcony enjoying great company and good wine was a fantastic way to spend a few hours.

We were traveling back from the Smokey Mountains and went out of our way to be able to come back to this winery. Our favorite in KY. We arrived and sampled wine. It's $12 for 6 wine sampling. I did all the dry reds and then a reserve that's considered 5 year aging and premium prices which are steeper than the traditional $14.99 for a bottle of wine aged for 18-24 months. All of the wines that I sampled were sensational. The lady provided us generous pours for sure. It also included a stem glass that is a beautiful glass. Recently one of our glasses from our 2022 appearance broke. This is my wife's favorite glass to drink wine out of. However I said let's stop here again and now she has 3 glasses. Always a great experience here. We had a 6 hour drive home, else we would have spent more time here.

I still absolutely love this winery. The addition of Travis in the tasting room is an absolute delight. He did my tasting today as well as a previous tasting. Kellie is great as well. I came in today to pick up my wine club and ended up doing a wine tasting. For Valentine's Day and for wine club members - you can do a wine and chocolate pairing. If you have any hesitation - DON'T. I was blown away by this pairing. Travis and Kellie worked with Ghirardelli to pair chocolates with the wine. The sugar cookie pairing with the rose was amazingly good. The chambourcin wine and the salted caramel was mind blowing. I enjoyed my experience and the tasting. I appreciate that they are trying to pair the tastings with different things to provide a more rounded experience. This continues to be one of my favorite wineries. I plan on being back as soon as the weather warms up and I can enjoy the patio.

We came here for a tasting and to get some wine near our new home. Travis got us off to a great start and then the place got very busy. andWe love to see this as things are coming back! He'd made several suggestions for local faves so as it got busier, we grabbed a bottle and took our tasting glasses out on the deck where we had a great view of our new house in the area and some great views of the vineyard too! We also learned that in the summer there will be wine pairings and food truck fare at the winery. Can't wait. We loved the time and experience and we'll be back for sure. The tasting room is just a very short drive from our soon-to-be VRBO rental and future retirement home. I'll keep you posted on all that. If you're in the area, Lover's Leap is a fantastic stop for some relaxing wine tasting adventures! This will be a regular stop for us now.

Took the weekend to do a bit of driving around. Picked up our daughter the evening before then met up with our son and daughter-in-law for the afternoon and dinner later that night. We met up at Lovers Leap winery. Very pretty area. Rolling hills, trees with autumn leaves. Too bad this COVID thing is cramping all the activities.Regardless, we were greeted happily by the two gents behind the counter. Travis was our guide along this tasting trip. All the wines showed dates of harvest. Seems some places aren't bothering with that. Travis gave us a good bit of info on each wine we tasted. Very knowledgeable on wine in general and more specific info on their harvests. Also, just a great conversationalist. The wines! Well, my wife and I seem to have gotten a bit bored with lack of things to do in Cincinnati, so we've been venturing out to vineyards in Ohio, Indiana and this weekend in Kentucky. We've tasted some very nice wines over the last couple of months. Without a doubt, Lovers Leap takes the prize! My son and his wife prefer a dryer wine, my wife, dry but a bit sweet.I'm a red, sweet wine guy. In this case, I delved into a tremendous Chambourcin that was, I felt, the best wine I've tried in the last bunch of visits. Every family member had a favorite and we did buy several different varieties. The "lounge" area was closed, due to COVID. Otherwise we probably would've gotten a glass of our favorites and just sat and chilled.I can say for sure, we'll be back. Especially if the restrictions are lifted. We'd love to come down and sip some fantastic wine and listen to some live music.I can say, if you're visiting this area, checking out wineries, this should be your first and last stop. Out of the three we hit in a two day visit, Lovers Leap Winery and Vineyards was undoubtedly the best!

One of the best dry red wine tasting experiences we have ever had if you like big red or quality wines do not pass this winery by you will not regret it. Quality, red and white wines. Kentucky should be proud of this diamond. It's a jewel to be proud of.
