Visited the Grand Reopening on Saturday morning with a group of 10 friends and enjoyed the informational tour of the buildings and grounds. I had no idea prior to this visit of how fortunate we are to have this facility and will definitely have it in mind to bring out of town visitors to experience in the future -- we have a world class jewel and winner of literally international awards for design and engineering excellence. I enjoyed the historical aspects of the multiple buildings located on the site and the beautiful architecture and the picturesque setting and surroundings located on the Ohio River. Our tour guide was absolutely terrific. Signage and display materials were excellent. The educational displays in the museum portion and informational videos in the small theater were terrific. Interesting outing for all ages for kids, teens, and adults. Ample parking located off of River Road and the Zorn Avenue exit from I-71. Great venue for a nice walk along the Ohio River before or after the tour.

Louisville water tower park is a downtown riverfront park wth an active and historic water tower near the banks of the Ohio river. There is a beautiful landscapes area with awesome and historic looking buildings. There is a Water Tower Museum but appointments (reservations) are required and we were not able to visit the museum. We did visit the park itself and saw the exterior grounds and signs but did not see inside.I understand the facility can also be rented as a venue for parties or events.

Louisville water tower park is a downtown rover front park/water tower for the water company. Sitting off river road just off the banks of the Ohio river. This is a beautiful landscapes area with awesome and historic looking buildings. You can actually rent the inside out and from what I've heard it makes for amazing events and celebrations. I actually made my first trip here last weekend while going to the buy local fair that was hosted here. Very pretty grounds and cool place to see. Overall it offers great views of the Ohio river. Maybe one day I'll get to attend and event and check out the inside to get the full experience. However the outside is pretty cool to check out as well.

Really neat and large water tower located in eastern Louisville off Brownsborro. I was out exploring like I usually am and came across this water tower park. I walked around the area for a bit read some signs they had and snapped some photos. This is a cool place to explore and visit.

This place is mainly an event venue. It does offer a great picturesque back drop for events or for an inspiring photog. Outside of events, there is a museum that has odd hours and days (it was closed when I was there) and the water tower. This place is located right off of the Ohio River and has some grassy areas to hang out and a court yard overlooking the river behind the museum. They have a decent sized free arming lot and other areas are specifically marked as do not park. I did not spend much time there, about 15-20 minutes, but the little bit of time there that i did spend, I enjoyed. It is a peaceful place and part of Louisville's history.

Louisville Water Tower Park is awesome! I've actually talked about Louisville's water quality a lot this weekend, as I've been visiting family out of town. If you're not in the area, you may not be aware that Louisville has some really awesome water! Louisville Pure Tap is consistently rated some of the best water in the country, and you can access the Annual Water Quality Report information on their website at any time. It's kind of a whole thing. And this park isn't just a water tower. It's actually a venue rental space, people have weddings here, schools take field trips, and they offer open group tours for the general public. Honestly, our water tower is that cool. There's even an actual museum inside - the WaterWorks Museum. If you haven't been out to this park, I definitely recommend checking it out. It's a great spot to ride your bike out to, or you can drive (there's plenty of parking) and walk around to check it out. Maybe schedule a tour and see the museum, or just attend an event here the next time you get a chance. Trust me, it's really worth a visit!

This historic Baroque style tower and structure with interesting character from the 1800's, (also older than the famous Chicago tower), offers modern updated private rental space good for weddings and other indoor events. My personal experiences have been the outdoor events from local craft / venders to Bourbon, BBQ and music festivals. All very fun. Always a success for my tastes. Great view of the Ohio river especially at sunset. Ample free parking on spacious lawn. No permanent outdoor facilities. Easy access from River Road. Looking forward to the next event.

Truly bizarre that I have yet to review this place. Maybe because it's not really all that special. A little forgettable, in fact. I often forget that it's even a park. And when thinking of parks to walk my dog, this one never comes to mind.It is good for event hosting. They have a space for that. I once was apart of a bachelor auction here. That was fun. They also host festivals and 5ks and things like that. There's a massive green space that will inevitably be soggy and muddy because it's in the flood plain and this location seems to always flood.Dunno. Not an exciting place. 2.5 stars rounding up.

Spend at least 15-20 minutes to snap a few pictures on the way to breakfast if a early riser. You can also see the majestic river while the sun is rising which makes for cool pictures. Very beautiful towers.
