Such a cute foot hall concept under one roof. Streatery has about 5-6 different concepts from mochi dogs, to cheesecake, Asian fusion, sushi and more. I came by with a friend to grab a bite for lunch and get some work done. When we walked in immediately to our left was Anko Sushi and then you see all the menus on the screen. For the menus on the screen you order from the register but the sushi you order separately. For this trip, I decided to try the spam masubi, and a sushi roll from Anko. The food was brought out to us pretty quickly, and we were able to sit and enjoy while we worked. There was complimentary WiFi and parking. All in all we had a great time, I definitely wished the mochi dog and cheesecake folks were open for us to try.

My family headed over on a Thursday night and we were lucky to snag a table for 4, especially once we realized that it was trivia night. Menus of all the areas were available at the front entrance for us to grab and review. We snagged food from most places, minus the cheesecake.Overall it won't be a space we put at the top of the list for food, but I wouldn't say no to meeting someone there. If the food improved, my mind would be changed.Very casual atmosphere - in a good way. Most tables are longer and people share spaces. We were lucky to grab a table for 4. You'll need to order at various spaces depending on what you want. Saying that, food is going to come out at different times so you won't necessarily be eating together. That was a bit unexpected and made the visit longer than expected. Friendly service helped the lag.Street parking and more behind the building.

Three cheers for ambitious ideas that elevate a neighborhood. Streatery is definitely one of them!2 years ago this part of the city was pretty stark, with a lot of vacant spaces, so when my recent visit visit brought me back, it was so wonderful to find this colorful concept bringing new life to this part of the community. The Streatery is home to 6-7 different food and beverage concepts offering up a variety of edible opportunities, from sushi and boba to Korean corn dogs and Asian fusion bowls, plus burgers, wings and a bar with a fun selection of Asian beverages, it's all here. As a big fan of Asian flavors I decided on Fresh Out the Box, and ordered their sesame noodles with spicy pork, and the added all the delicious Korean banchan on the build your own to make a bowl that offered a variety of flavors. We also had to try Anko Sushi, which is getting rave reviews throughout the Lou, and it was solid too. The space itself is off to a great start. It has a ton of potential and I can't wait to see what the owners and businesses do in the coming months!

Finally stopped by to try a burger--- yeah I need like 10 more of them!I'm not a burger person so when the mood struck I knew I wanted to try the nacho burger, and wow I'm glad I did. This burger was packed full of flavor, but they also loaded it up with all the toppings. It was an out of this world experience. This burger was heavy and not the best on my sensitive stomach, but I loved it anyways. Just remember to bring tums if your the type that needs them!

I've been meaning to try Anko Sushi in the Louisville StrEatery for a while, and I'm so glad I finally did! I came on a Tuesday evening and got their omakase (chef's choice) special. Based on their IG posts, it looks like the omakase selections are changed seasonally. I had their last summer menu. Everything was beautifully prepared and tasted fresh. It was a fantastic deal for the quality they serve. Can't wait to come back for their fall omakase!

As someone from Indianapolis, one of my favorite places in their downtown area is a place called City Market which is essentially a place with various food vendors and shops. The Louisville StrEatery accomplishes this same concept but on a much smaller scale than City Market. Here, you'll find seven different vendors all with a unique selection of food and drinks. The choices here are Smash N Grab, Fresh Out The Box, Str8 Drop Wings, Beech Bar, Mochi Dog, Da Tea and Anko. What I love about places such as this is the ability to order from various places and make your own meal. The style of Louisville StrEatery is very laid back and chill. You'll find quite a lot of places to sit with tables of two different sizes from small to large for more of a group setting. There are a few board games to play while you wait for food and there is also a stage in the back for their events they host such as karaoke on the first Friday of the month and other events. I decided on this trip to try the build a bowl of BulGoGi which is much like a poke type of bowl. I went with chicken, white rice, broccoli, carrots, edamame with yum yum and spicy mayo and topped with scallions and sesame seeds. For my drink I stopped at Da Tea and had their Strawberry Ai Tea which is milk based. Starting with the food, it was very delicious and full of flavor. You get a very decently sized portion which comes served in a microwave reheatable container with a lid which you don't see very often and something I really appreciate in case one wants to take their food with them. The food came very well prepared and the presentation was quite nice. I really enjoyed by dish and I didn't feel that the portion size was overwhelming and especially for the price which was only $12. For my drink, i loved the flavor of the Strawberry Ai Tea and also a very nice portion for only $6. What I really enjoy about this place is the many options you have here and although I did not get to try every vendor's offering I know that I'll definitely make it a point to come back here and I absolutely recommend anyone to come here as well since you'll have some great options to create your own meal from.

A really cool concept. I had poke from the sushi place, and my friends had some of the other options. There's plenty of seating and a parking lot out back with enough spaces.

After having the StrEatery on my list for a while, I finally met a friend there for lunch. It'll be my first and last visit. My build your own bowl was severely lacking in flavor. I took maybe 5 bites before deciding it wasn't worth eating more. The gyoza was also very underwhelming. I got boba from a separate vendor. I had to wait quite a while for him to show up at his booth. I placed my order and he said he'd bring it out when it was ready. When he brought it out he placed it on the table without a word. It had no boba and no straw. My friend ordered cheesecake and it was more like thick pudding that was overwhelmingly sweet than actual cheesecake. I was very disappointed in my overall experience. I will note that the space itself is nice and well kept. That was the best part of the meal.Total for one rice bowl, fried gyoza and a boba plus tip was $30!!

We were driving around the Beechmont area today because we are thinking of moving there. We stopped into StrEatery to check it out as a potential neighborhood hangout spot, and it did not disappoint. We had wings from Str8 Drop, crab rangoon from Fresh Out of the Box, mochi donuts from Mochi Dog, and a $15 GameDay special bucket of beer from the bar. We love an eclectic and unique menu! We watched football, played Uno & Connect Four, and had a great conversation with the owner. Everything was delicious. The space is comfortable and relaxed. I definitely see us spending time here when we move... and let's be real, I'll be back for more donuts before then.
