I'm giving two stars due to an incident with one doctor--Doctor Doyle for back. I have a back and hip issue, and want to clarify that Doctor Goodin, who handled my hip issue was amazing and kind. Doctor Doyle however, shamed me over my weight. I weigh 200 lbs., not 300, not 400, and I'm 5.3 feet tall. I have tried to lose weight, but since I cannot walk well, due to a hip issue caused by curvature of the spine, not weight, I cannot lose that weight easily. I cannot just go to the gym and walk, or anything else, until I get at least one surgery done. He literally shamed me and said, "well, you can get into a pool, can't you?" Whether or not I can, or have, is honestly no one's business. And I am amazed that anyone else needs to pry into my personal life like that and assumes that I haven't tried anything or everything to lose weight. I have dealt with this issue my whole life, but Dr Goodin never acted like it was an issue, or told me it was an issue, just Dr. Doyle. I saw many other women there of all shapes, and sizes, tall, short, thin, large etc... and I wondered if any of them were shamed for their shape too. I saw one woman easily larger than myself there with a bandaged knee. If they've gone through surgery successfully, why can't I? Also, why didn't my hip doctor say the same thing to me that the back doctor did? Why didn't my hip doctor tell me I was too large for surgery, or that I needed to go to the pool? I understand I was physically discriminated against and shamed today, I just don't understand why if they've operated on others who weigh more than I do.

I have been very impressed by the quality of care either. It's a group of experienced professionals in a pleasant setting.

while I now visit a location closer to my home, I received excellent care at this location. The team of practitioners here is experienced and responsive.

Very professional and would recommend this office to anyone in need, I was treated with the upmost respect.

If you are looking for an Orthopedic Clinic for Spine and Pain Management I recommend trying here. Dr. Compton is very knowledgeable and his staff is super friendly and helpful. They have a state of the art facility with X-Ray, MRI and Physical Therapy all in the same building. It may take sometime to get an appointment if you are a new patient but, once you go there they go out of their way to give you the best possible treatment plan and help you set up all the appointments you require.

Have been seeing Dr. Compton and Katie for over 6 years due to a Workmans comp injury. Beside the fact they genuinely care about you, they are beautiful souls with compassion. They take the time to truly listen to you. Dr. Compton does ablations on me and his confidence and skill shines each time. Granted, it is a bit scary getting 6 nerves ablated, but Dr. Compton knows his nerves! Katie is also just absolutely a treasure to see and she also has compassion from the center of her soul. I recommend them for all your pain needs, if they can't help you one way they will find another way that will help! God bless them allMitch Bensel

I had a very negative experience with Louisville Orthopaedic. After undergoing an MRI, I was scheduled for a follow-up appointment. The doctor (Dr. Eads) was over 45 minutes late and I had to leave without being seen because he took so long. The doctor then called me and said it could have been handled over the phone anyways... During our phone conversation, the doctor mentioned that he did not perform surgery on elbows (which is the sole reason I came to Louisville Orthopaedic to begin with) and would need to be referred to someone else in the practice.During my appointment with the next doctor (Dr. Kuiper), he was dismissive of my symptoms and did not offer any solutions to address my pain/discomfort. Once the appointment was over, I said "thank you" and he left the room without responding. I would not recommend this practice, especially for any elbow injuries.

I was a patient and had my shoulder replaced. My doctor was great, I was always confident in what he said. The problem is with the office staff. I always confirmed if I had a bill and left them my HSA card to put any balance on. My I called to get a shot of cortisone in the shoulder that had not been replaced, but was planning on it next year, before I went on vacation. I was told I had a $200 balance, unbelievable after all the money they had gotten, but I said fine put it on my card. They said no, never had anyone refuse money, that they had turned me over to a collection agency. I informed them I would not deal with those vultures, only my doctor. They still refused to accept payment and schedule my appointment.I will never go back to them so long as they have this incompetent office staff. I am looking for a new doctor that has a practice that shows some common sense.

Excellence care from provider always helpful and tried to educate me on every issue that's ever arose with any of my situation

No sense of time. Been sitting in the waiting room for over a 1/2 hour past my appointment. I don't understand the purpose of scheduling appointments when you're left waiting way past the appointment time.
