Christina was our guide for the NuLu Food and History Tour on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 1pm, and she was amazing! I had so much fun and learned a lot about Louisville's history, even as a longtime resident. We made stops at Goodwood Brewing, Biscuit Belly, Feast BBQ, Please and Thank You, Royals, and an art gallery, with some fascinating historical stops along the way.The tour covered about 1.5 to 2 miles of walking, with plenty of breaks at each stop to sit, enjoy the food, and rest if needed. It was a great mix of delicious food, sweet treats, beer, and other drinks. As an employee in the beverage alcohol industry, I really appreciated Christina's emphasis on responsible drinking and her inclusivity of non-drinkers by offering mocktails, water, and other non-alcoholic options, along with food, of course! She also made sure to accommodate those with food allergies or sensitivities, offering alternatives when needed.Christina was not only knowledgeable about Louisville's rich history, bourbon, local food, and businesses, but also warm, funny, and welcoming. She made everyone feel special, took the time to get to know us, and gave excellent recommendations for visitors. It's clear that she loves working here, and I want to thank the company for treating their employees so well! One tip for future guests: bring a tote bag for any leftovers or purchases you might want to carry along the way. I highly recommend this tour!"

This was the first time I have participated in a food tour and the same for 2 of my friends who agreed to join me. We signed up for the Louisville Food and History Tour of NuLu and we were so fortunate to have Christine as our guide for the day. She is absolutely charming, knowledgeable, friendly, energetic, and enthusiastic. I would absolutely want to participate in future tours that she leads, one of which is in the Highlands. We signed up for a Sunday afternoon tour from 1 to 4 PM and walked approximately 1-1/2 miles and visited Goodwood Brewing, Biscuit Belly, Feast, Please and Thank You, Royals Chicken, and the Creamery. I would be content to do a repeat of this tour when I have guests visiting from out of town. I saw the exterior of the Thomas Edison House, Victorian houses, the art installation at Garage Bar, several building murals, and an art gallery in addition to the many views from a pedestrian vantage point that we typically miss while traveling by vehicle. Food and drink were all fantastic -- beer, bourbon and Ale8 slushie, Frose', Derby nut bar, cookies and cream ice cream, chicken tenders, pork cake and slaw, pretzels with mustard and beer cheese, and biscuits with a gravy sampler. We learned so much new and fascinating info about Louisville in general, as well as additional specific facts pertaining to NuLu. Great activity and will repeat!

I took place in the Beyond the Barrel: Bourbon & Bites Tour. Our guide Cathy was great! Super friendly and informative. She even gave us a little free gift at the end. Overall this was a really great experience! I am by no means a bourbon drinker and still don't love it lol but it was an awesome way to learn about the history about it and figure out what kinds of cocktails and types of bourbon I do like! The food was my favorite part, everything was delicious! I would definitely recommend it to out of towners and bourbon lovers!

We did their Ugly Sweater Murder Mystery tour. I've been on a couple of Louisville Food Tours over the last 2 years but this one was so memorable. We only walked about 1 square block which was a welcome relief due to the cold and changing snow to rain. We got to experience 3 different but unique restaurants and some delicious dishes that was more than enough food (don't fill up before starting this tour) and the cocktails were superb! (The mocktail options looked just as delicious). Then the murder mystery aspect just made the night so fun. I was worried I would clam up and not want to participate but everyone leaned into their characters without taking it too seriously and by the last stop it felt like we were all friends. I highly recommend this for a date night or a group outing. It was the perfect start to our holiday season

I booked the Highlands History & food tour when my mother was visiting over Thanksgiving. Even though I had previously lived in the neighborhood, I still learned a lot and tried a number of foods that had not before. They were able to accommodate the tour for no alcohol / dairy and appreciated Regina's efforts there. I would definitely recommend the tour & look forward to hopefully trying another one

Attended the Phantoms of the Prohibition tour last week for an anniversary date. Allison was our tour guide and she was spectacular! She was full of knowledge, fun facts, and great energy! She took the time to know everyone in our group and really brought us together. The whole tour lasted 3 hours and we went to 4 different stops. Each stop had a food item and a drink. The price was a little steep ($150/person), given what we received. All snacks were shared, so not too filling by the end of the night. My only complaint was the ear pieces. The headsets frequently went out or skipped for everyone in the group, so I felt like I missed a lot of the information. All in all- this was a fun, unique date night idea! If discounted, I would definitely sign up for another tour in the future.

My friend and I had the literal best time on our murder mystery bar and restaurant crawl through NuLu!! Christina was an amazing host! Bar Nada Nada, Gertie's, and Lou Lou on Market had such amazing food and drinks! All were impressive and went above and beyond for the tour! This was a great way to be creative and explore the neighborhood in a new way! We all got our characters and really leaned in to our roles! Turns out, I was the murderer in our group! Surprise! What a blast! Everyone should take the tour and enjoy the impromptu yes, and moments!

Absolutely had the best time on the Murder Mystery Tour with Hanna last night! The folks on the tour really got into the game and to food and drink at 3 of the nicest places around. My daughter and I had the best mom/daughter time we've had in Forever! Thanks you!
