Dr Reid Brown is amazing! Just had partial knee replacement and from start to finish the entire Baptist Health team exceeded my expectations from pre-op infection control to attitude and attentiveness of every person in the medical team. Baptist Health and Dr Reid Brown are using many state of the art techniques and procedures to prevent problems and ensure a quick post-op recovery. Music therapy during my surgery was fantastic. The use of many different medicines ensured pain control which hastens recovery. I am a patient for life.

Recently visited the Eastpoint location and met with Dr. Reid Brown. This is relatively new location and I think the staff are still 'settling in'. I was early for my appointment and watched several others go before me that came in afterwards. Things were slowed down when they realized I needed more x-rays (should have been the first thing they did while processing paperwork of others). The office staff were also not the most professional as I listened to their chatter about all things non-medical while rotting in an exam room. Dr. Brown, however, is top-notch. He took the time to show me all of my scans and point out the problems with my right hip joint. He described the operation in detail to surgically correct the problem (hip revision replacement) and ordered additional blood work to rule out any potential pre-op problems. I feel confident that he will do a great job. Time to warm up the walker and cane (both hips replaced 15 and 18 years ago).

Kittie George was an amazing surgeon! I had a separated lower patellar and a torn ACL. She did a great job and I made sure I did my part at PT and am a 100% now.

This practice is fantastic, I'm not sure why there are no other reviews. I came all the way from NYC to have my surgery here. Dr. Borden, (who did an impeccable job on my mother's full knee replacement in 2004) referred me to Dr. Michael W. McQuillen. Dr. McQuillen and his team did an incredible job on my ACL reconstruction in Nov 2012. I'm 3 months post opp and I've experienced virtually no pain and my various physical therapists tell me thus far I'm ahead of where I should be in my recovery. This has nothing to do with me, and everything to do with the incredible job Dr. McQuillen and his staff did. It's always a pleasure (as much as it can be) to have office hours here, the nurses and staff are pleasant and I've never waited more than 5-10 minutes to see the doctor. This practice is excellent, a special nod to Dr. McQuillen and Dr. Borden.

I will refrain from using some names. The first doctor I saw was kind and explained everything about my diagnosis. She (Dr. Kittie George) took her time, showed me the x-rays and explained how my issue came to be. Unfortunately, the surgeon I saw next was down right rude and insulting. He wouldn't explain the surgical procedure. He his comments and "bedside manner" left me feeling hurt, scared, and insulted. I kept pushing back my next appointment, then finally decided to find another surgeon at another practice and I'm so glad I did. The reception area and scheduling staff were all professional and kind. However, bring a book to the waiting room. You will not be called back at your appointment time. You may have to wait an hour. Clear your schedule for the day.

I really like Dr Kittie George. She listens and is very direct when reviewing your options. She performed surgery on my shoulder and did a great job! I highly recommend her if you have shoulder problems.

Everything with this office is great aside from the fact they do not answer their own phones an ld do not reply to voicemails. This is a ludicrous practice.

I've been a patient here for the last two months following a serious sports-related injury and will be seeking treatment elsewhere based upon the service and care I've received. Let me stress that the staff I've interacted with - reception, MRI, and my orthopedist - have nothing to do with my 1-star review, as they have been lovely throughout this entire experience. The problems I've experienced seem to result from poor management. They are as follows:1. This place has bitten off more than it can chew in terms of caseload. It is very clear that they are understaffed and can't adequately deal with the volume of patients they have scheduled. Each time I've been in, the waiting room is packed to the gills with folks complaining about their wait times. Each time, someone on staff has asked me to bear with them because they're performing duties that they normally don't perform due to high patient volume. Furthermore, contacting this place is often an exercise in futility as the phone systems don't seem to ever be working - you're put on hold and then kicked off after 15 minutes, or every option you press goes straight to voicemail, or they can't call you with results or appointment changes, etc. And as would be expected,2. This seems to affect the quality of health care provided. Here's a good example. Because the phone system wasn't working, I physically showed up unscheduled because I couldn't get through to them - nor they to me - on the day they said my MRI results would be in. (This is two weeks post initial injury. Recall that this is a serious injury! I am desperate to know WTF is wrong with this leg I can't put weight on!) The orthopedist met with me briefly to give me the results. Which was great of her, right?! I certainly appreciated it. However, as happens when you show up unannounced to your doctor's office, she needed to get to other patients and didn't have the whole story, which was revealed on my follow up visit (4) - turns out, the injury was worse than originally reported. Visit (5) would have been a follow-up for the resultant change in treatment, but since I had already sat for an hour in the waiting room and there was no end in sight, I left without seeing anyone. I'm still in pain. I'm still disabled. I still require treatment. And yet, I'm still not even confident that my injury is correctly diagnosed, or whether the treatment is even helping, or what my prognosis even is. In short, seeking basic, adequate health care at this facility has been a nightmare and a virtual impossibility. So, to management, whomever you may be, if you're reading this: Get. It. Together. Seriously. For your patients and for your employees. When you ask your patients to wait for a really long time each time we need to come and see you because you've way overscheduled, you're asking us to subsidize your caseload with our time. When you ask your staff to operate without a basic working phone system, to field what must be hundreds of patient needs, fix clerical errors, and address medical mistakes, you are overworking them and compromising the care they can provide. These things are at the very least unfair and, worse, terribly unethical.

Initially the injury to my foot was diagnosed incorrectly by an Intern who did not think any bones were broken. He gave me a cheap boot that wore out within two weeks, and told me to ice it. Since it was pretty painful to walk on, I asked to see a doctor on staff and Dr. G looked at the xrays and confirmed that I had two broken toes. He told me that since I am older I could expect to experience chronic pain. Not a really good healthcare experience, and their billing was aggressive.
