Louisville Boat Club

Recently attended a private event here that was fantastic! Dining and bar staff were great while setting up, serving, and cleaning up for the event. Food and drinks were excellent! Property was clean and well kept. Great atmosphere for a classy evening. Would definitely recommend for any future event.

Went for a family dinner. It was a prix fixe only available for members. Needless to say, it was worth every dollar.The meal started with a choice of cream of broccoli or a seasonal salad. The three of us all chose the salad. The champagne vinaigrette was light, the proportion of pears was perfect, and the goat cheese was just enough flavor to shake it up.The main course my mother and I both chose was the chimichurri skirt steak. I was so excited, that my image was after I had already begun (I promise the presentation was beautiful). I can't speak for my father, excluding the fact that he ate his mahi mahi tacos before I could even get a picture. He certainly was happy. My skirt steak was perfect -- it was rare how I like it but warm, crisp, and wholly flavorful. The portion was perfect for a three course without stuffing me beyond comprehension. It was the perfect choice, and the kitchen perfected the skirt steak.The dessert was delicious. It was a thin slice of turtle cheesecake on a bed of chocolate fudge sauce. The dessert was the perfect end to the meal, leaving me feeling full. The cheesecake was subtle, and worth every bite.The cocktails -- albeit arguably expensive -- were all delicious and came timely. The staff were all incredibly kind (per usual) and genuinely enjoy working. If you were given a choice between any country clubs in Louisville, there is no choice. Louisville Boat Club is always the right choice.

Attended our holiday party hosted at the Louisville boat club. The venue was nice, and the catering staff were extremely professional and polite. Drinks were a bit pricey but they were strong and good. The food was tasty. There was adequate space for dancing and mingling. A great place to host a holiday party.

A beautiful river venue with a grand lawn and an elegant clubhouse. It just might be the perfect place to host your private event. Better still, they are welcoming membership applications. This is a great place to meet people; a great way to start 2019.

Had a two day off-site business meeting at LBC. Venue, food and service were perfect for 12. As reciprocal member from another club, it was as if we all belonged. Buffet for breakfast and menu for lunch both days, right on schedule. George and Drew were fantastic. Thank you.
