Louie's Tavern

Flew all the way from California for this pizza. Not kidding! Atmosphere is great too. Love it

Good food and well priced. Great to stop on way home from Holiday World. Only accepts cash. Very local crowd.

Didn't take a picture but my coworker and I had their hamburgers today for lunch. MAN those were good. Never had them before. I got the 1/3 pound burger and he got the double. I told him it looked like he had half a cow on a bun. I haven't had a burger patty that thick in a long time. Very tasty too. I love the Strombolis there but thought I'd try something different. Glad I did. Now I just need to go through the entire menu.

Just a heads up. It is 21 and up all the time here. We came from the campground and had to head down the road to a different Tavern as children can't be here. Just trying to save someone else time as we didn't know and it doesn't say on yelp.

Stumbled on this place when we were camping near Holiday World. Great food and service, friendly people. Doing a great job despite Covid. Pizza was excellent.

Amazing place great atmosphere the owner is awesome and the food is great. Three major things businesses need for me.

Frosty huge mugs of ice cold beer and tasty large wings, chilled crisp salad and cole slaw! Excellent friendly bartender and met the owner. Very nice place, thank you!!

Great tavern with a friendly staff. Good local crowd. Award winning pizza. I personally love the cauliflower crust pizza.

I love this bar. It's very cozy with a great vibe. The pizza was amazing and absolutely delicious. My daughter got the Jalapeno Bacon Cheeseburger. It's a huge burger, I think 1/2 lb. OMG......It was delicious also! Very friendly staff, and great service, and they have a huge selection of bourbons also.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. A native of Spencer County and was in Louie's bar when I was quite young, it was fun to stop in. Been told for years that they have the best pizza so of course had to try. I have to say they really do! Ordered the Louie's special and boy it was good. The crust was crispy. The whole crust not just the outer edges. Most pizzas the crust towards the center is soggy, not their's! I highly recommend to give Louie's a try if your in the mood for a pizza! Also, remember it's a locals hangout too! Everyone knows everyone! Our bill came to $24 for a 12'' special and 3 beers. Very reasonable!
