Los Rodeos Mexican Bar & Grill

This resturant has been here for a long time . we eat here a couple of time a month. It has a ranch / Mexican atmosphere, it is located at the end of small mall that is attached to Kroger food market. The service was fast polite . The food is vary good. We got a card that they punch every time we eat there . when all the punches are filled in you get something ( I can't remember what.) They do honer Military discount. parking is easy and close.

The food was pretty good but the way we were billed for the nachos with chicken left a sour taste in my mouth. My daughter orders them and was asked if she wanted shredded or grilled chicken. She answered "grilled". At no point was she advised that this would mean a surcharge that would almost double the price. Her nachos with chicken had now become "Nachos Fajita Chicken" for $12.50 instead of $6.50I saw the price change when checking out and inquired. I was told it was because she had ordered the grilled chicken. We needed to get back on the road so I didn't argue any further. Be warned!

The absolute best fajita nachos I've ever had! We live in NC and our daughter lives in Mount Sterling so she took us there before our grandsons high school graduation. We wanted something tasty and pretty quick and these guys definitely delivered! She said the service has always been really slow but we always sit at the bar anyway because we tend to get better service there. Today certainly did not disappoint!

The best thing here is the salsa. The service was terrible. Appetizer came out after the food only after asking our server twice. The Fiesta Dip looked good on the menu but was barely warm. Ordered Tostados but they have no fresh avocado or guacamole. The tostadas were cold and the cheese not melted. The server brought a steak chimichanga and said it was chicken so it went to the wrong person at the table. Fajitas came out but no tortillas or salad plate for another 10 minutes. Fajitas were cold by the time the tortillas arrived. There was no sign of a manager or anyone in charge. The people all around us seemed to have issues too. Hopefully the owner can make some improvements.

This is now our favorite Mexican restaurant in town. We used to like El Camino the best, but after they changed to Don Senor and built a new building - nothing tasted as good anymore. I love the salsa bar here, of course hopefully that will come back after Covid restrictions. There are so many different salsa choices. My favorite meal here is the molcajete bowl - I usually get two meals at least from it and it is delicious. My husband always orders the fajita nachos and they're wonderful.

My mistake, I should have known not to order Mexican food in this area but unfortunately there weren't many other options. very poor service and food quality, Nothing fresh.

We had been craving Mexican food so we decided to stop at this restaurant. The food was ok but the waitress forgot our queso. We got the spicier salsa with our chips which was delicious. All in all, I don't think we'll be back.

Fantastic food, best Mexican food in the area...great service, the wait staff is friendly and attentive...we moved here from Texas where there is alot of Mexican food restaurants and this one has the best of everything, I have yet to be disappointed...keep up the good work

Salsa was the worst salsa we have ever eaten, salsa was basically tomato sauce. No flavor at all. Dead flies on window sill and blinds were very dirty. Ordered chili verde and there was no pork. Service was very poor. We were never offered a drink refill. Waiter disappeared for most of the meal. One highlight of the meal was guacamole was good. Definitely won't be back.

Food was 'meh' but the service was terrible. Almost felt like a bunch of kids working there and no one was managing the shenanigans. I'd have to see more positive reviews addressing their service before I ventured back.
