Los Bravos Mexican Restaurant

Wide Mexican menu. Great service. Good food. A tad noisy. Good value. Seemed to be liked by the locals. Was very busy.

Los Bravos is one of the best restaurants in town! They have a lot of options on their menu, the service is both very efficient and very kind, and the atmosphere is welcoming. For birthdays, the staff will bring you free ice cream and a sombrero and sing to you. My nephew loved it! Will definitely be going back.

Los Bravos is your fairly typical Americanized Mexican restaurant. Not too fancy, but striving to feel authentically "Mexican." The layout and design of the place actually reminded me of the long-deceased "Don Pablo's."Kudos for good chips and salsa; the chips arrived on the table appropriately warm, plus they were nice and thin and crispy and not too greasy. The salsa, while not chunky, was tasty nonetheless, with the right amount of cilantro to make it tasty. The cheese dip was your typical white cheese blend with a little bit of a kick, but nothing outrageous.I had the grilled chicken quesadilla and my wife had the grilled steak quesadilla. Both arrived pronto at our table and were hot and sizable, stuffed to the edges with chosen proteins. I enjoyed a side of rice, a nice compliment to the quesadilla. Overall, not a bad place for the price if you're looking for some reasonably priced and reasonably tasty Mexican food in Jasper.

I'm going to start this right here. can't say much for the food, because didn't have a chance to buy any. the inside looks like your traditional Mexican restaurant with Mexican decorum. let me get into my reviewI'm on foot here in Jasper. I called this place and asked them if they're showing the canelo/Ryder fight tonight. ya know, Mexicans are very proud group of people, so naturally I wonder if they're going to show the fight.I call this place and speak to a really nice guy and asked him if they're going to be showing the fight because I wanted to come in, buy a bunch of food and a bunch of cocktails. he told me yes, emphatically.so, after learning the fight had started, I walked about a half a mile to this place. well I was greeted by a very nice, very well mannered kid at the front. I explained the situation, and asked if they're showing the fight. he said he didn't know, so we both walked to the bar to take a gander.I look up at the tvs, and apparently they're playing football. I didn't even know football was already on, because I don't follow woke sports, but in a nutshell, the fight wasn't on.now I am very very big on integrity. when I call a business and ask questions, I expect honesty. they lied to me, on top of the fact that I walked in the rain just to come here.I absolutely will not support any business that lies to me or it's customers. since you lied about something so simple, how can I trust you that my carne asada is actually beef?I'm off to the schnitzel, to drop a couple hundred bucks around people who are honest.

Staff was friendly and service was quick. However I'd rate the food to be mediocre. I ordered a chicken chimichanga with refried beans and rice, and table side guac. The chimi was okay, not really fried how a chimi should be, the rice was tasty but the beans were very "runny". The table side guacamole could've used a lot more spices and flavor. I ordered a strawberry margarita. I could hardly taste the tequila. But it had good strawberry flavor.

Food is typical and bland but the restaurant is cute and inviting. I love the patio overlooking the riverwalk. There's a constant foul smell in the bathroom hallway, near the kitchen. I don't think the odor is from the bathroom because I don't smell it in the bathroom. I highly recommend the Mexican restaurant near Ruxers Ford on US231 (south of Jasper). I think the name is Azul Tapitio. It's where Los Bravos used to be. Food is SO GOOD! The building is older but they have made numerous updates.

There are my visit to the city of Jasper while I was training and Jasper Engines and Transmission. I had opportunity to visit this location several times, and the times that I came in the service was great food not to say it was excellent.

This is truly one of our happy places! From first greeting to prompt, polite and thorough service, to hot, tasty, and overflowing portions of our favorite Mexican dishes, Los Bravos is a great experience! My favorites are the Emparadilla Bravo (beef, chicken, chorizo sausage and shrimp simmered with tomatoes, peppers and onions) and Chicken Poblano (chicken breast with a special light green sauce with mixed veggies.) You will not leave hungry or unhappy!

Los Bravos is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants next to the river walk. When you walk in you're greeted with someone at a counter and then you're seated. I haven't been here in a while so I don't remember a lot from the menu but anytime I ordered the food was always good. The food was always warm and never over or under cooked. The waiters and waitresses are always nice and respectful. In my experiences, sometimes I've had to wait a little while for my food but otherwise it's pretty good! I recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Mexican food.

Great service. Delicious food. Fabulous margaritas. We love this place. Highly recommend
