My favorite lobster roll in Louisville, we barely have any. This older gentleman named Philip drive this food truck primarily around three spots, by norton hospital on chestnut, by UofL on Preston or on Bardstown rd. His location can be found on his Facebook page, be careful he has an older inactive page. The service is very friendly, when i told him I've been craving the lobster roll not knowing where his food was, he offered me a free drink and said hope you like it and see you next time. For the food, i suggest you get the combo which is $3 more than the roll. The combo includes includes a lobster roll chilled (traditional) or warm with butter, (Connecticut) and a choice of clam chowder or lobster bisque soup and two made in heaven biscuits and that's coming from a non biscuit foodie. As always bon appetit , and I can't believe that Yelp took badge away boo.

Great lobster rolls! We got some from here some as my husband is from Gloucester, MA and we heard about this truck. It was quite good, unexpected to find something like this in KY! The owner was very friendly. He had both the traditional New England style (cold) and CT style (warm). We had the traditional but I may try CT next time.

The portions are huge, and honestly I always was uneasy about ordering seafood from a food truck. Their lobster rolls are fresh and amazing! The soups and cheddar biscuits are something that I look forward to, and the owners and employees are the nicest people!

I love this food truck! This was the first one I tried once I moved to Louisville, and it was a great kickstart! I was lucky that this food truck stopped in my neighborhood because I do think it's difficult to find their truck schedule. The lobster roll, lobster bisque, and cheddar bay biscuits were so delicious. Every was so warm and fresh. I hope I'll be able to hunt this one down again!

What a great food truck. I stopped here on a warm and rainy day months ago, when it was parked by Children's Hospital downtown. I came after the lunch rush was over. I lucked up and made it there about thirty minutes before they were to pack up for the day, just in the nick of time. I ordered the Longshot combination, which comes with a roll, soup, and a warm cheddar biscuit for $18. I got the late-in-the-day VIP hook-up special of a few extra biscuits, thanks to my lateness. I chose the lobster bisque for my soup, which was flavorful, creamy, and delicious. The biscuits were tasty, and perfect for dipping. The roll stole the show though. I chose Connecticut style for my roll, which is served warm and tossed in butter. I enjoy both the cold and warm styles, but the warm type is my favorite. This roll met the mark and was wonderful. The roll was soft; the chunks of lobster were plentiful, tender, and fresh; and, they didn't skimp on the butter or scallions. I thoroughly enjoyed my late lunch, and I even had most of the soup and two biscuits left over for a snack later on. The owner was super friendly and efficient with filling my order. I could tell that he takes much pride in his business and making sure his customers are happy. I wish every business operated this way. The prices aren't cheap, but they are what one would expect getting a fresh lobster roll so far inland in landlocked Kentucky. I would like to visit this food truck again, I just hope to find him at another spot, since I don't feel like donning riot gear to get a sandwich. Prayers for downtown Louisville and its economic future. Longshot Lobsta is a wonderful food truck with a high quality product, impeccable service, and owner that enjoys his work and values his customers. Highly recommended.

The food looks amazing in the pictures that are shown but there is no concrete way of locating this food truck. They don't post where they are and when they do it's completely random. They have a location posted but when I drove all the way there, the food truck was nowhere to be found and needless to say I'm not even rating the food. I would love to rate this food but I can seem to be able to try it.

What a super nice guy and what a great idea Longshot Lobsta is. For $4, the lobster bisque with 2 lobster cheddar biscuits is really tough to beat. The biscuits are good enough to get full off of. If he sold a dozen of them, I'd be tempted to buy them if I weren't watching my carb intake. The bisque was very tasty. Very strong lobster flavor, which makes sense and is what you want. It was thick enough for a solid snack/light lunch.Unless you really wanted to try it, I wouldn't chase this food truck down. But if it happens to be in your area, hit it up. You won't be disappointed.

Great front man! Super friendly and nice. I was the first customer of the day so I got a complimentary biscuit. So sweet! Food truck outside of Humana building downtown Louisville:I'm a lobster roll conesueir. We try them all over the country, specifically, East coast fans. So, I'm tough. This lobster roll was great. I ordered traditional, a little Mayo, a little celery and seasonings. It had a great fresh flavor and the bun was just right with a wedge of lemon.I would have liked the lobster to be a little less minced, with bigger chunks, but it was plentiful. At a $15.00 per roll it's a bit over the $13- $14 I'm used to paying for some of the best, but, I paid without blinking and eye...so...there you go!My advice...GO EAT a lobsta roll!!! I loved supporting a truly nice guy, doing a great job!
