The food was phenomenal. The Kung Pao Chicken was especially delicious, and the interior of the restaurant was spotless; nothing was dirty. Our waiter quickly delivered our food--it was delicious and inexpensive. I highly recommend paying this place a visit.

Pan fried dumpling were a 10/10. These were delicious! Highly recommend. We then had house special fried rice which has all the different meets in the fried rice. All of them were good. The texture of the rice was perfect but there was a seasoning in it that I didn't love. We then had the general tsos chicken. It was good. The breading was good. There was some gristle in it which I don't love. Service was fast and nice once we got seated. From the outside, you would never expect what it looks like in the inside. All of the portions were large enough you could definitely share each meal.

You can't go wrong with anything on the menu as they have both Americanized Chinese food and authentic Chinese food. Try Dandan noodles for a unique and flavorful experience. There is Sichuan pepper in this so be mindful if you have a low heat tolerance! The waiters were nice with us and attentive to our water supply.

Longfei is one of the best Chinese restaurants in town! Not only does the food feel so fulfilling to eat, but the service is great too. Our waiter was very kind and attentive and the manager here was also really humorous too. The Twice-Cooked Pork melted in my mouth and the Fried Salt and Pepper Fish Fillets were crunchy and had a nice kick of pepper that complimented the dish well.

Tofu dishes here are delicious. The wife says that the home style tofu is the best tofu she has ever had. Every time we are here I have some variation of fish and tofu. Service is excellent. Highly recommend.

I'd consider this to be a fairly standard American Sichuan restaurant. Not the best Sichuan food I've had, but fully up to standard, and better than you'd expect from a small town like Bloomington. Pork intestine had the perfect level of chewiness, and potato was cooked perfectly. Dumplings were handmade and some of the better potstickers I've had in recent memory.

The food is very good and consistent. We always order takeout or Door Dash, so I know it's fast, but can't speak to the ambiance.

Excellent authentic flavors! I wasn't hungry but craved authentic Chinese spice and flavor and this was perfect! The tripe and beef appetizer had a zing of flavor on my tongue, exactly as it's supposed to. The tendon wasn't as tender as I prefer, but enjoyed anyway. The eggplant came out and the chef encouraged me to try it while he watched... rightfully so, it was spectacular. Crispy outside and soft delicate inside all surrounded by tasty spicy sauce. Just two small dishes to get the flavors I miss so much from my time overseas for business trips.

I used to eat these sorts of dishes all the time, but I've shifted, in part because at most Chinese places, the vegetarian options amount to tofu with white rice and I like more variety. Here, they do it well though. My home-style tofu came with a sauce rich in fermented broad beans (doubanjiang) and the vegetable assortment included bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms but also some delightful little chilis. And they certainly didn't skimp on the tofu. My veggie egg rolls were less impressive; smallish, black pepper flavored creations with a sweet sauce.I could have done with some different options for appetizers on either their Americanized or their more Chinese menu, or the ability to order a side vegetable without another plate of rice. But the Mandarin being spoken and the quality ingredients were reassurance to me that I made a decent decision to stop here.

Longfei is a decent Chinese restaurant in Bloomington. It's just as good as the other options you'll find for Chinese food in the downtown area. The service is friendly but a bit slow compared to other restaurants. The overall ambiance is that of your typical American-Chinese restaurant. I'm only taking one star off because I can't really think of anything that makes the food stand out from other Chinese restaurants in Bloomington, as well as how I think the prices could be somewhat lower when you have cheaper options at some other places.
