Liquor Barn

Liquor barn is a liquor super store with a few locations in the louisville Kentucky area. This particular is in the okolona community off busy and populated outer loops road in a shopping plaza. On my visits to the liquor barn they have always had plenty of stock and plenty of options. I'm a bourbon guy so that's usually what I'll come for. On most bottles they are a few dollars higher then others but almost usually willHave what you want in stock so it's a give or take. They will run sales every now and then so you can catch a good deal and pay cheaper prices if you have the right timing. Overall a very nice and spacious liquor store with good options. Definitely it rotation of places when o go out Bourbon hunting.

They have a new policy that requires them to scan the back of your ID. When they do this, they are getting far more information than if your ID is valid. They can sell every bit of your data to anyone they would like or it could be compromised in the next data breach. If you do not want your personal information taken and sold just for buying beer, shop somewhere else.

I'll stop in here last week while I was in the area to grab some new drinks for my wife and I are for the evening. She wanted a certain beer and I wanted to just look around and see what they had and see if it was anything different or new to try. This place is huge it has a wide variety of options if you can't find what you're looking for here you're probably not gonna find it anywhere at a good price at least because this place has everything that you can think of excellent place for sure

We visited LB after dinner at one of my favorite classic comfort food diners The Metro. We walked down the strip mall to LB for a special hard to find bourbon I've been wanting for sometime. My friends first LB visit was a surprise the place is huge, well organized and labeled displays areas making it easy to shop. I'm the bourbon lover. The section there is well stocked and organized and in the back you'll find the top shelf liquor. Some under key so you have to ask for service. Today my goal was a bottle of W. L. Weller hopefully a 12 year. Since I didn't see any I spoke the the manager Doug. He was very helpful. Saying yes! I can get the Weller but it is limited and comes in every 6 weeks. Doug took my name and #. He would call me when it arrived. Great! His customer service was awesome! For him to take my name was more then other similar businesses had offered. Since I had noticed a few other bourbons I've been wanting to buy I picked up both 10 year Special Bulliet and a Russell's reserve. It's getting harder to find well aged on most store shelves so I was happy with my experience. Thanks Doug for the great customer service. LB is well stocked for most all your beverage needs. Extensive wine and beer section with local beer products. There is also a large selection of quality cheeses and a well appointed cigars. I'm not a smoker but there was a lot to choose from. Will be returning very soon. Note; located in a large strip mall with large lot parking and Easy access. There is a also a "Party" supply section. Very clean business.

Big. Clean. Good selection.This location is close to my boyfriend's house, so this last weekend when we were hosting a party and needed to swing by somewhere to grab some dranks, we came here. It is a smaller-ish Liquor Barn, at least it seemed to me in comparison with other larger chain liquor stores. But it was therefore a bit more spread out, easier to navigate, and cleaner than other stores I have been to.That said, they didn't have the specific seasonal beer the Fella wanted in stock yet. And they didn't have a great selection of beer singles for purchase. But...we both left with something purchased and both found somethings that we wanted but hadn't actually been looking for!The employees were friendly and ready with a smile at check out.I probably won't come here on a regular basis as it is far out of my convenience area. But if I am ever in the area and need something...this place will do just fine!

Local liquor store usually keeps a great selection in stock. Multiple times a month they will numerous different events. Sampling's with Select companies, giveaways. We've gotten some cool Jim Beam swag in the past. Don't hesitate to ask for whatever it is you want. If they don't have it they might be able to order it or help you find it Store is always clean, bright and fully staffed.

Are those whom review Liquor stores Alcoholics??? Hummm? Is it a problem to say this is my favorite liquor store???.... Why am I making it sound like I'm just ridding around the city hitting up liquor stores seeing who has the best alcohol!!!... See it's not about what they sell ... because they all pretty much sell the same thing!!.. LOL It's about the staff, the knowledge of the staff, the friendliness of the staff, the help of the staff, the samples of the wine (had to throw that in there).. the cleanliness of the store, the organization of the store and the sense of feeling welcome when the staff displays familiar greetings as if they remember you and value your business. Even had someone ask me about a particular bourbon he suggested from my last visit. OR..... Is it time for an intervention because I go to the Liquor Barn so much they know me?????.. like Norm from cheers!??? Hahahahaha!!Nawwwwww, it's just a place with great customer service!! ... and great prices!!

Beer and donuts....why yes, please! Headed to liquor barn as I saw they were having a launch for Braxton's new IPA. Being a fan of Braxton's and donuts, a friend and I met up to check it out. This particular store has a bar type area where you can purchase a sample of select drafts. We sat and had our beer and donut while chitchatting with the other people there. Once done, we wandered the store. I'm typically a wino so I always like seeing a large selection of local wines. The store is always clean when I'm there and the employees helpful. There was a wine and brandy sampling going on as well but we skipped those. I hope this store continues to host more events for beer releases as the beer and donuts was eclectic and fun.

Praise God and pass the ammunition! They have a wonderful selection of wine, beers, and snacks. This isn't where I'd go for snacks but if you can't find what you need here you're doing it wrong OR you're a bit too fancy for Kentucky. I was impressed as well by their local beer selection and my ability fill a 'growler' despite not wanting to I was hectored by another patron about why I should, in fact, ditch the Belgian blonde of my dreams for a bucket of hops sloshed about in water. They had a good selection of German beer AND German wine. Your stereotype is that the Germans drink a lot of beer, they don't drink a lot but what they consume is without exception quality. There was a wide, wide international and domestic wine selection. They could offer MORE beers but Rome wasn't built in a day. Their spirit selection was better than your average grave yard. I wasn't there for spirits but I wish I had been. If you're looking for something, they probably have it and the employees are reasonably helpful without trying to pass themselves off as experts.

don't think that anything you were ever going to order from the store is gonna come to you Code we're in the middle of having a party and we ordered wine and high noons and everything came hot. I called up there to complain and the manager said there's nothing we can do about it. I spent $80 and everything came hot.
