This is the closest hardware store for me and over the years your greeted within seconds of entering the door by a friendly clerk. They always want to help and if you stay long enough you might even hear a good story or two. This location is a throw back to the mom & pop stores you always heard about and that makes it easy to shop here. Solid advice, great employees & an easy to get to location.

Stopped by yesterday a little before closing time to purchase a drain for bathroom sink. Open sign on and customers inside. As I approached the door, a thin, balding man with a moustache held up 4 fingers to me indicating they closed at 4pm. I opened the door and went inside. I asked if I made it in time-he replied that as long as I did my business in less than 2 minutes-he was NOT joking. I showed him my old drain and asked if he could help me find a replacement. He responded "Do I look like a plumber?" I am not kidding! I responded "You work here don't you?" He said-"Of course I work here" with a very rude tone. I decided to take my business elsewhere and I told him that they were losing business because of his attitude. I asked him if he was the owner and he responded "Do I look like the owner?" I will never spend another penny at Limeberry Hardware. It has declined since it was Point True value and will drive past it on my way to other places that want my money. Home Depot received the $40 I would have spent there. Hiring unfriendly people that don't appear to want to be there seems like an unsustainable business model.

One of the last of the great old fashioned hardware stores! I was greeted upon entering and had my lawnmower air filter in my hand. Fella came around from behind the counter and said, lets see if we have one of those and proceeded to lead me to the lawnmower parts aisle. On the way back to the front of the store I said I wanted two bags of bird seed. The bird seed was promptly loaded onto a hand truck and wheeled out and loaded into my car. I hardly had to say a word, my needs were anticipated. These guys know what customer service is! Support your local small business!
