The food and service at Legacy is second to none. The place is clean. The food is fresh and delicious, and Marcy and her crew take excellent care of their customers. Add in their commitment to supporting community causes and you couldn't ask for a better local business. For my pizza snob New Yorker wife, it's the only place around that feels like real NY pizza.

We're regulars at Legacy. And when discount coupon is available on WDRB, we seize the opportunity. This time, we had 3 couples tag along. All but one had enjoyed Legacy previously; one couple were first timers. While my wife and I typically start with a garden salad, our newbies went with bruschetta. Not your typical crusty bread with tomato & cheese. Uh uh. This is essentially pizza dough covered in cheese and tomato and served with a garlic cheese dip. As Legacy never skimps on portion size, there was enough for the entire table. When their "small" Stromboli was brought to the table, their look was priceless. A regular meat pizza almost made them comatose. My wife went with her usual spaghetti squash pasta. I chose a weekend special-chicken parmigiana over pasta. For me, parmigiana can be tricky. It's so easy to overcook. Or over-bread. Or worse, served greasy from the fryer. Legacy nailed it. A huge chicken breast, lightly breaded, perfectly golden fried, smothered in cheese on a bed of pasta with marinara sauce. Chubby me, who rarely has trouble finishing a meal, took home leftovers. If there's a "miss" there to the French dip beef sandwich. It's good, but not as spectacular as the other dishes. Service was excellent. Pricing reasonable. And as always, the food was wonderful! We'll be back. With or without coupon.

Great little place in the heart of New Albany, off the main drag but easy to get to, and plenty of parking in the back.We had a group of eight but they had a large round table that held us comfortably. Let's get to the point. It's pizza and it was very good. five stars for the pizza. Even the basic cheese pizza is really good.I would've given five stars but there were a few things that held them back.First, there does not appear to be any air conditioning or they were not using it. It was in the 90s but hotter inside. We were all sweating and gross by the time we left. It might be fine in the spring and fall but simply not acceptable for summer. If the a/c was out they should have mentioned it and a simple apology would have been enough. You know "Sorry the a/c is out". It does not take a lot to pacify us. I ordered the sub as I'm kind of an Italian sub effectionado and many pizza places can make them really well. Not so much. You can see the pictures I posted, they made a very attractive sandwich presentation. But it was just a lot of dry bread with some attractive topping on top. It was not a good balance with how much bread, it could have used more Italian dressing, vinegar and oil, and shredded lettuce instead of chunks of it making it harder to eat.The soda I ordered was flat and tasteless. If it wasn't for the great pizza I would have downgraded my review more. Check the machine more often and taste it yourself. One of use ordered the chicken alfredo, I did not try hers but she raved about it and it was a very generous portion. She indicated she would come back just for the alfredo.

Had yet another WDRB coupons that led me to a great restaurant. I had to park in the back because it is on a busy street and across from the high school. Excellent pizza. I got a large Classic pizza. Toppings were dispersed throughout the whole pizza. I think it's the sauce that makes it so much different from any other speciality pizza joint. The sauce has a great Italian spice to it. I also got a Nonna because I noticed the artichoke hearts on it but I substituted the chicken for ham and it was perfect. The veggies are all fresh! I did get the canolis to-go. They have a pistachio canoli and a chocolate chip canoli. Haven't tried them yet but I'm so looking forward to them. I'm too stuffed from the excellent pizza. I do prefer my pizza cut in squares. They cut in standard triangles. But it all eats the same. Better than Wick's in my opinion. Must try. They also have fresh baked breads for sale. I'm looking forward to trying more options on the menu. The server said the stromboli was really good.

Our culinary adventure at this local gem was nothing short of a movie scene, with its cozy bistro vibes setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Our server, whose name escapes me but might have been Lindsey, was a star--attentive, swift, and knowledgeable about the daily specials that tantalized our taste buds.We embarked on our gastronomic journey with two appetizers: a cheese bread so generously laden with cheese it seemed to defy gravity, and deviled eggs that were devilishly good, with a secret ingredient that had us craving more. The cheese bread was a masterpiece, with a clever cutout for the marinara sauce that doubled as a delectable hat for the bread--a true revelation in flavor! My daughter opted for the Margherita pizza, which she proclaimed as "very good," while my wife savored the spaghetti squash with meatballs--a dish so hearty, it could have easily fed two. As for myself, I took a walk down memory lane with a Calzone, stuffed with pepperoni, bacon, and sausage, and a symphony of cheeses that sang with each bite. Accompanied by two peppers that added just the right amount of zing, it was a balance of flavors that I'll remember for moons to come.Though the marinara sauce was a heartburn hazard, it was a risk worth taking for the taste. And as for the cannoli, each flavor awaits its turn to impress us--anticipation is the sweetest dessert, after all.In conclusion, this establishment isn't just a place for pizza; it's a destination for those who appreciate the heart and soul poured into every dish. Owned by a remarkable lady, it's a spot that deserves to be etched into your list of favorites. Do yourself a favor and pay a visit--you won't regret it!

I just made my first visit to Legacy and was quite pleased. It's a larger than expected room and our service was quite good. The menu contains a LOT of items I'd like to try. I went with pizza on this first visit was quite pleased with what I got. I'll happily visit again.

We decided we want to try something new and local. We all decided Legacy was what we wanted. We were sat by our amazing server Olivia. I wish I could have gotten more stuff to try. I ordered the spaghetti squash with meatballs, to say it tasted sooo good is an understatement. It was a huge amount of food for the price. My husband decided he wanted to get a calzone with Italian sausage, pepperoni and bacon. He said it was sooo good. Our daughter ordered a margarita pizza, I actually tried it and it was absolutely delicious. We also got there cheese bread, and deviled eggs I have to say best ones I've had in a long time.we also ordered all 3 cannolis to go. We got home and I have to say my favorite is the robin egg. Please take a moment and try this little bit of heaven. Olivia thank you for all your hard work and attentive to us. We hope to see you next time we come in.

Definitely a high-quality pizza!! The family is visiting town, and we decided on pizza - and Legacy is superb!I honestly wanted to try the cheeseburger pizza (or the bacon jam), but the vote went towards the BBQ chicken pizza. 16" for $26 subtotal, and the estimated wait was 25min. Getting there was easy (across a high school), and we were back in a jiffy with our hot pizza.I really liked the pizza - the crust is great, the quality and balance of ingredients is excellent, and just an overall great pie. There could have been a tad bit more BBQ sauce, and the "undercrust" could be a little more supportive, but these are more minor details. Thanks again Legacy!

Pizza is delicious and the crust is perfect texture with a interesting sausage shape. We loved it.Pepperoni bites are a good appetizer. Definitely a place to get good carbs. They have one of the best Reubens in the area. The bread is made in house, with lots of baked bread for sale and cookies. This place is a bakery and a darn good one! Good service. Great spot to eat.

In my opinion, their Nonna pizza may be THE BEST on this side of the river. Been going here for at least the past year or more and this pie is so good I've not even tried their other pizzas. Mimo's Pizzeria always does great work with pizza, but this one from Legacy is hands down my all-time favorite. Even when I get pasta for my main meal, I ALWAYS take this pizza home for a treat. Plus, I'm very allergic to mushrooms and they've done a good job of working with me to help these off the pie.
