I am here after 9 pm ordering takeout. Order before coming here. They are BUSY and it will be 30 minute wait. I ordered Chicken Curry with Rosemary Naan for wife. I ordered Chicken Tikka Marsala with Garlic Naan for me.I also ordered Samosa and Onion Pakora (Onion Pakora isn't on the menu. Vegetable Pakora is on the menu) which come with 2 tasty sauces. I asked for onion only when I was told the Vegetable Pakora had cabbage, #1. Maybe that would be good. I've had many different Pakora's. Onion is my favorite. I didn't want other veggies.I ate the Onion Pakora when I got home. It isn't as good as I make. I learned to make it from a neighbor from India.I ate a Samosa also with the sauces. It was good. I don't make Samosas. The Naan appeared and felt like it was leftover or overcooked. They weren't soft, rather crunchy and easily breakable. That was unsatisfactory. I don't make Naan yet, but hope to soon. Lebrang's Naan was worst I ever had. I will tell them about it next time I visit. The Chicken Tikka Masala was fine. I like that it wasn't too watery. My wife hasn't had her Chicken Curry yet and said the Naan appears dried out. I told her that is how it was from the restaurant. Very dry to the point of crunchy and breaking. Not good.Basmati rice comes on the side which was okay, nothing at all included.I make a tasty Basmati rice with a few seasonings included. After reading the reviews, I had high hopes to not have to travel to Louisville. Maybe it was an off day or something. It isn't my favorite place, unfortunately.***UPDATE***Wife wasn't impressed with Samosa or Chicken Curry. The Naan was not edible. Wife thinks they heated the Naan in a microwave last night. She said it was tough. I agree. She also said it was a waste of money. Not happy.I had given 3 stars. Now it is 2 stars. Not happy wife, not happy life.

Oh no! Sorry to do this but I went to dinner this week wirh a girlfriend and ordered our 2 meals and then 2 more meals to go home for my hubby and daughter. Here's the thing, they all tasted THE SAME. I ordered chicken tikki masala and chicken mappas. The Pappas should have been in a LIGHT colored sauce. It was not and it didn't have much flavor. The tikka was better, had a smoother flavor. Both had sugar added. The tikka was way sweeter than any I've had before. To go order was for chicken korma and butter chicken. The korma was slightly more tomato flavored but again, sugar and same tastes. This place has a high rating and I'm not sure why so hopefully this will clear some things up. Very nice lady working there though!! Also - watch out what you get charged for - One of my items charge was listed as LOTTERY. so weird!

If you are in Charlestown, IN or going through Charlestown and you are in the mood for authentic Indian cuisine, you MUST stop here. You get a great deal of good food for a fair price. Lebrang is located within a Sunoco gas station. Not a lot of table space. A place for 4 to dine and 4 to dine outside. While having our delicious food, several patrons were ordering takeout. So it seems their takeout is what they do mostly because of space. The owner was also our server bringing all of our food out. He threw in a couple of different foods (breads) for us to try as well.

We love Indian food and often look for places to try during our travels. We have a local favorite, but it's a bit of a drive, over in Louisville. We are thrilled to now have it on our doorstep! We've been twice for takeout, since we found out about it a couple of weeks ago. The food is great and the owner is very hospitable. We tried the Chicken Tikka Masala, and Lamb Tikka Masala, which is served with white basmati rice. The meat was tender, the sauce flavorful. We also tried the Samosas (one of my faves), Aloo Gobi (cauliflower, peas and potatoes in a delicious sauce), and a type of flatbread. They don't have naan. Everything was delicious, fresh and piping hot.We will be regulars!

How can you describe authentic, fresh, incredibly flavorful Indian food that comes out of a Sunoco gas station? This place has me scratching my head... honestly it's some of the best Indian I've had in the USA. A very nice older Indiana lady was back in the kitchen cooking, and I believe she's a hidden gem in Southern Indiana. There is limited seating, so takeout is your best option, but this amazing place is just too good to be true!

The food is awesome. My favorite meal to get is the Egg Biryani. It comes with Raita and Papad. I get Cheese Kulcha and Samosas on the side and to top it off, a delicious and sweet mango lassi. It isn't for everyone, There are traces of anise husks and other aromatic seedlings mixed in. It's still delicious if you aren't afraid of chewy seeds shells. For those who want Lebrang but don't want the seeds, there's some hearty and meaty curries as well as wings. The curry can have mutton, lamb, or chickenThere's also fish and egg variants of the biryani and yes, there's vegetarian.

Somewhat of an odd setup. Lebrang is a convenience store with a kitchen in back. They serve Indian cuisine as take out only. There is no seating. Also on site is a Sunoco gas station. Our grown daughters have eaten here several times and recommend it highly. My oldest grandson goes on and on about their food.I will say we were a little let down, only because the way our family talked about it, we were expecting a "religious experience"! The food is good, just in our opinion it's nothing extra special. We're fans of Indian Buffets, and we've had as good or better on buffets. All that said, we had the Chicken Korma ($12.99) and Lamb Biryani ($14.99). We also had a side order of Chapati ($2.99) a type of flatbread. Neither of us were fans of the Chapati, we'd rather have Naan. The chicken in the Korma was dry, but the sauce was very tasty. The Lamb Biryani was pretty good. It was served with a couple side sauces, mint sauce and a cucumber type sauce. I definitely liked the dish much better with both sauces added. We ordered the chili sauce on the side because I like more heat than my wife. A little of their chili sauce goes a long way.Portions are generous, we split both dishes and still had some Biryani left over. You can order online or call in your order.

Online ordering was simple and quick. The food is always hot/fresh and very flavorful, and the staff are always welcoming and happy! Love having an Indian spot close by instead of having to travel to Louisville. If you haven't tried Chicken 65 (Indian hot), you're missing out!
