The Japanese Wagyu title refers to Matsusaka Ushi, Kobe Beef, and Ohmi Beef cattle raised in the Kansai region of Japan. All three of these Wagyu types start out as Tajima Beef cattle born in Hyogo Prefecture, but are taken in as calves by commercial cattle farmers in other regions. They take on the names of Matsusaka Ushi, Kobe Beef, or Ohmi Beef depending on the region of the commercial cattle farm where they are raised. Miyazaki Prefecture is the second largest producer of Japanese Black, and only the highest quality cattle from this region can be dubbed Miyazakigyu. It is true that the Miyazakigyu Wagyu are fed diets of beer and are treated exceptionally, often with muscle rub downs or massages. In 2007 and 2012, this class of cow boasted the champion of the Wagyu Olympics held every five years in Japan. Its beautiful color, extraordinary marbling and buttery richness establish this Grade A5 Wagyu cut with a Marbling Score of 10 as literally one of the finest steaks in the world. We went here for our anniversary and it was AMAZING! Amber was our server and she was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. The gentleman filling our water glass and bussing our table was also incredibly nice. They had a small table in the corner for us with linens, champagne, and anniversary card from the staff.My husband and I both come from fine dining management and this place seems like a great operation . Another amazing dining experience. We've been here for dinner, brunch, and a drag brunch.I made a reservation for a party of 12 for my husband's 40th birthday. We were greeted with champagne by a lovely hostess and then seated in a semi private room. Complete with balloons, hubs was also gifted some cracker jacks (the owners fave) and a card.Our waiter, Walter was the absolute best! The birthday boy devoured the tenderloin flight and I ordered one of the specials...lamb and a chickpea salad med mix.The service, food and ambience were impeccable.

My friend and I made reservations for our holiday lunch at Le Moo. The online reservation process was seamless and quick!I love the decorations inside Le Moo, always seems very sophisticated and fancy. The lunch menu is great with options ranging from appetizers, salads, soup, wraps, burgers, etc. We started with the bread basket - it's crazy you pay $10 for bread and butter but it was really good and the portion size was large. For our mains I ordered the Caesar salad and French onion soup, the salad was okay but the anchovy was overpowering. The portion size was very small for a $11 salad, but it did include an egg and slice of bacon. The soup portion was large and was full of crostini and a thick cheese crust ($12). It's definitely something you could share. My friend ordered the chicken Caesar wrap which she loved. It came with fries for $18.

Okay I've finally made it to a Le Moo dinner for Valentine's Day and it did not disappoint! I had the steak and my boyfriend had the beef stroganoff. The steak was so good!! The beef stroganoff was good but not amazing. We had a red blend wine and the chocolate bread pudding.

My friend and I had tickets to a play in Louisville. We saw LeMoo had a great looking menu and great reviews. We wanted brunch and brunch cocktails. We weren't disappointed! The interior is beautiful with dark wood and comfortable upholstery. Outdoor seating is available during warmer weather.The menu is extensive but on our server's recommendation we went with waffles. I got the traditional and my friend had the blueberry. Light, fluffy and delicious! I got a side of candied bacon to go with my waffle. It was salty sweet perfection. The blueberry waffle came with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream which my friend opted to have on the side instead of on top of her waffle. Another excellent piece of advice from our server ( he said it helped the waffle stay hot longer ). For our cocktails my friend chose the Caroline Mae ( raspberry lovers ) and I chose the Olive Joyce ( elderflower fans ). Both were excellent! We each also partook of espresso martinis. Stopped in for a Friday evening after dinner drink of Irish coffee. It was fresh, delish, and a perfect finish for the evening. Was pleasantly surprised to run into a new friend along with an old friend and enjoyed a relaxed catch up, so it's a great place to chill out without feeling rushed or pressured. All of the waitstaff are amazing and the ambiance is comfortable and inviting. One of my fave places to visit regularly every chance I am in the area.

We recently visited Le Moo it was the first time after a long break. When we arrived I alerted the hostess that we had a reservation They offered us a toast of champagne while we waited to be seated. When the table was ready I was surprised to find that even with a reservation we found ourselves sitting in the bar area at a small two top. The waitress came over and asked if we'd like some Louisville tap as if thats somehow a premium offering lol. I guess compared to some places it is. We accepted and ordered. I got the steak Diane and wife got the pork chop which our waitress informed us was top grade pork and it was recommended to have it prepared medium -medium well.I was okay with the risk of Trichinosis just so the chop wasn't dry! The food came out after a short wait, we did the supervised please check temperatures of the meat cuts. I hate it when I'm looking at a steak I know is over cooked (not much, but not perfect) and we all know it. Then it's a matter of waiting another ten minutes while my partner eats to get it right ... so I nodded it was fine... and it was tasty. The "sides" mashed potatoes, asparagus, mushrooms very nice but a bit sparse.. I guess from a cost vs quantity perspective.Steak was to me a bit overcooked the red center the waitress described as medium wasn't exactly the case. The chop was exactly as she suggested medium well-ish definitely pink in the center. Near the end a nice lady who I perceived could be in charge or possibly the owner came over and checked on us. That was cool. Server offered dessert we declined ticket wrapped up promptly. All and all the meal was solid and it's certainly a must try if you've never visited before. I'll try Le Moo again sometime down the road.

Dining with superior service, the great variety of food, at what is technically a steakhouse, but so much more. And the sheer transformation of a former very meh restaurant into the best dining experience with wonderful ambiance, is always to impress and incredible. I've been to many new and classic Louisville restaurants, as well as expensive places to attend in the newer or classic Louisville restaurant experience, and nothing compares. The establishment has it all, and don't feel guilty about showing up without a dress coat/suit/or dress. I love this and its diversity. It's simply the best for everyone and nothing has ever disappointed. Love the staff and attention to all detail. 5 stars. No, I'm not a rep or staff, just the occasional diner with family who wants a staple place to live and go to!
