Lay’s Donuts

Wow, these are so much better than the chain donut places.All of their donuts looked very light, thick and fresh. And the ones we had tasted the same. We had the cronut (croissant/donut) which was my second time having one and the best cronut I've ever had, some of the chocolate sprinkled ones and a filled one.Everything tasted so good, soft and chewy and everything just melted in your mouth.

11/9/24 My husband and I came here before we went on our hike in the pinnacles. Lays Donuts is a must-visit! The donuts were incredibly fresh, melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the staff was so accommodating. The store is very clean and inviting. The variety offered was impressive, ensuring there's something for everyone. A delightful experience all around!

Donuts and service were amazing! Their cronut is probably the best donut I've ever had. The store is cute inside. My 4 year old loved walking out with fruity pebble donuts and dinosaur stickers

This morning I was finally able to visit Lays Donuts and give them a try. Lay's opened just a few days ago on February 1st and is located next to Goodyear on the EKU Bypass. All of them were amazing! Fresh donuts and full of flavor. I had won a free dozen of glazed and also purchased some blueberry, apple fritters, and cinnamon rolls. Everything is delicious!If you haven't visited this place yet, you need to stop by and pick some up!

Our favorite stop for donuts and a breakfast sandwich. The donuts are warm and fresh daily. Very Kid friendly and the owner is so so kind.

Stopped by Lays as a treat after a trip to the doctor for the little one. The visit to this cute little shop was definitely a treat for us both!! So glad we discovered Lays Donuts. This was our first trip, but it won't be our last! The service was great, made a recommendation to me because I couldn't decide and it was spot on. The crumb donut was amazing. I guess it's going to be me who reviews this place first! It quite literally just opened on 2/1. Looks alone, I've lived in Richmond for a year, and the building hasn't changed much since Brady's and the Noodle Shack. However, they've put their cute logo on the door. Going in, the staff is so nice and is quick about getting what you need. Even when we went in close to them shutting their doors, they still served people after us. A lot of their options were picked clean. My boyfriend had the blueberry glaze, I had the chocolate sprinkle, and caramel smoothie. The quality is bomb. My boyfriend isn't a donut person, but he loved it. The breading wasn't overly sweet, and the blueberry glaze was the perfect amount of blueberry. The caramel drink - if you like caramel fraps from McDonalds, but you hate the way the coffee tastes, this drink is for you! The second time around, we got the blueberry donut. Scrumptious as well, tastes like Fruity Pebbles. The kolaches are so flavorful. The atmosphere was great, it was so nice to see people lining up out the door yesterday morning!

Okay, what can I say?!? Apparently quite a bit.....This donut shop is the bomb and is easily the best place we've experienced for donuts anywhere we've wandered in Kentucky. The apple fritter and cinnamon roll were both melt in your mouth divine as were the rest of the sweet treats we garnered. Each donut was fresh depending on the type, either cakey or pillowy soft and sweet ... none greasy fried tasting (y'all know what I'm sayin'). Also tried the savory kolaches which we devoured as soon as we got home....yummy!The fella who assisted us was nice and helpful and offered recommendations. Oh, and the inside of the shop was cute and decorated family appropriate. We drove quite a ways and it was sooooo worh it - Lay's will be our go-to donut stop when the hankerings hit. A definite must try!
