Las Chalupas No.2

Food was great, aqua de horchata is freshly made with rice not out of a bag. I was craving some arroz con pollo and las chalupas delivered. Great service. The chorigueaso had a little too much chorizo for me but most people like it with more chorizo. We will be back.

We ordered take out from Las Chalupas No2. I specifically asked for a grilled chicken quesadilla . I asked for the quesadilla WITHOUT vegetables. When I got home I had a quesadilla WITH vegetables. I called to share that the order was wrong. The employee would not agree to help and got the "manager". I am a frequent patron of this establishment. And I have NEVER been treated as poorly as I was by this manager. I was able to produce a receipt - but when I went to pick up the food they took the meal that was wrong but would not give me the replacement untilI gave them an extra 1.59. I tried at deal with this in prior to leaving this review. I want local businesses to be successful - but Was shocked At how we were treated... can not imagine a manager behaves this way. Make sure you repeat your order multiple times. Make sure you check your order before you leave the establishment.

After spending some time in Muscatatuck State Park we were starving. We Yelped Mexican food and we got lucky with this place. Far more food than we expected for the money. Very good.

Meh. This is the definition of mediocre Mexican food in America. The burrito is basically an enchilada made with a flour tortilla instead of corn (skinny with just meat inside). The refried beans were so soupy, I needed a spoon to eat them.

The wife and I liked this place. She passed on this last year and still eat there occasionally, and still like it very much.Great food and service, at competitive pricing for our area. And enjoy recommending it for visiting family and friends.Looking for Mexican cuisine in the North Vernon area? This the place to eat.

Not impressed. My husband likes it but the last few times I have not. He finally convinced me to try it again. He gets the #57 chicken,rice and cheese everytime and always says its good. I got a shrimp taco this time and the shrimp was cold and barely grilled. I always add sour cream, tomatoes, and cheese and it just didn't have any flavor at all. Chips and queso are good but that's about all I can say. They did offer to remake it but I just asked them to remove the taco from the bill, they did.

Food is ok. Ambiance is decent. They always discriminate against us with our service dog and put us away from everyone else. Which is fine we like the privacy but illegal. The prices are OUTRAGEOUS! Most expensive Mexican food menu I've ever seen. We won't be back again after our last experience.

We went there as a large group and sat in the back. My bill was $20 before tax and $22 with tax. What's weird is they give you a check that has tip amount blank before even processing your card. I wrote in $6 tip and signed for a total of $28. My final receipt was $34. They had added another $6 without my signed permission. I guess they fail to realize that this is illegal and can be reported to the Attorney General's office. I inquired and asked about the difference and was told it was a room charge but that it would all go to the waitress. What they fail to realize is that's like a 60% tip and you can't charge a patron's card and do business that way. Purely unacceptable.

Good food great service even if you spill a drink they don't get mad and just give you some napkins to clean it up the vibes are perfect and would recommend for out of staters

Food was great, just as we expected. Service was wonderful. A very outgoing young man was our waiter the first night. he was very welcoming, nice and treated us with respect (hard to get from youngsters these days) we ate here twice while visiting the area and we totally recommend it.
