We were visiting my in laws in Evansville and decided to try out the pupusas here. We were surprised to find a place like this in Evansville and appreciated how friendly the staff was. The pupusas did not disappoint & the curtido was delicious. The accompanying salsa was also very tasty.

One of the best places in Evansville for authentic south of the border food. My favorite dish is the huevos con chorizo with a big cup of horchata. I've had several other dishes and they were all good. The chicken soup will cure you of any ailment. It's not set up like a traditional restaurant, but don't let that intimidate you and keep you from discovering this culinary experience.

In a strip mall. This is a restaurant attached to a Mexican grocery store by the same name. Another room with a pool table. Complete neighborhood Mexican dive feel. Food to match. Had the carne asada tacos. Two grilled corn torts, carne asada, onions, cilantro and lime x3. $5.99. Superstar. Chicken flautas, $7ish, stellar. Kid Chicken quesadilla, amazing. $3.99. Four table dining area, open window to the kitchen. Sodas come in cans with a cup of ice. Lady at the counter played with our kid, chips and salsa were amazing. Enough said. Go there, eat well, live longer.
