Larrison's Diner

Larrison's has been a staple in Seymour for over 50 years. The local diner that is open 6 days a week (closed Sundays) from 7a-2p. The cheeseburgers with grilled onions are a must. Pair it the fries or fresh onion rings and a hand dipped shake or malt for the perfect lunch. Their homemade soups (bean, chili, vegetable beef, and chicken n' dumplings) are just what you need on a cold day or when you need a taste of grandma's house.The local small town diner with memories on the walls and the staff is so friendly. It is always a must stop and eat when we are in or passing through Seymour.

In town for business and was hungry for some breakfast. I had noticed this location the night before on yelp and had to give it a try. Good old-fashioned diner and the ladies cooked up a fantastic breakfast. Service was great and I love the diner atmosphere. They also have homemade cinnamon rolls right beside the checkout. I bought enough for the office and everyone absolutely enjoyed them. Stop and give this place a try you won't be disappointed if you love diners

I just had the 8 ounce burger again. So Yummy! I always get cheese, pickles and grilled onions and the size really satisfies.

Always quick and professional wait staff. The cozy style diner and food options that bring you back to a simpler time. The breakfast menu is my favorite, but lunch is always great too! My wife and my schedules don't line up well to make it here during their normal hours, so when they do we make sure to stop in!

We were in the area heading to the bourbon trail, and wanted something quick and easy for breakfast. It's your usual diner food selection, though it looks like they have more options for lunch. Service was prompt, not super friendly, but not unfriendly either. Again, what you expect out of a diner.I do like all the retro pictures and signs on the walls. They even had an old cigarette machine by the restroom. Lots of character. It's a bit of a drive from 65, but if you want something other than fast food or a gas station sandwich, it's worth a detour.

Larrison's is a hometown legend. I love their food, and there's something on the menu for everyone. Their specialties are traditional and super tasty, but all of their food is excellent. The staff is friendly and hard working. Seymour is my hometown, but now that I live out of town, a trip to Larrison's is a special treat! It has a wonderful atmosphere leaning toward their history, community, and a 50's vibe. I highly recommend Larrison's.

This place is the quintessential local diner. The food is exactly why you expect. The staff is rushed and a bit cranky. The fry cook does her best with the low quality ingredients but still manages to make the French toast tough. I can't understand how the use of "Wonder bread"! Is ubiquitous in this state! Don't go out of your way to try this local relic but it will fill you up if you're passing by! I so miss the Town House, but the trip to the Waffle House (Sunshine Cafe) is worth the short drive.

Best diner burger and fries ! Love this place has great cozy atmosphere and rustic ambience!

Their breakfast is absolutely outstanding. The waitresses are very nice and very friendly and it's a very unique atmosphere.

Friday special, country fried steak, mashed potatoes and green beans, delicious! I checked their menu online and it had the daily special priced at $6.99. Inflation has affected their prices also, it was $9.??. Good service!
