Thank you, thank you, thank you, Jaimelyn C., for being a pioneer and lighting the path to Lanceta. I've lived in Louisville for going on 13 years now and not once did I realize that Lanceta existed. Now I do. I am grateful.Lanceta's not large, it doesn't need to be, but I love the variety of soy sauces (there's a difference, y'know), and I finally have a spot to find Pancit Bihon or Pancit Canton or many other Filipino foods I couldn't find elsewhere. The prices are excellent, bordering on cheap, and it's always nice to overhear the singsong of tagalog being spoke nearby although I understand very little. Kinda like being home. :-)

If you're a Filipino like me who's looking for all your Filipino cooking needs, Lanceta is the place for you. They don't only offer Filipino cooking ingredients, but they also have snacks and beauty products all at reasonable prices. They have a lot of products which you can't find in Viet Hoa on Preston. The shop is quite small but they do have more Filipino brands to offer-- occasional Goldilocks products, Lucky Me Pancit Canton, and calamansi to name a few.Even Filipino food enthusiasts will be happy to find this shop. The owners are very nice and I'm sure that they would be more than willing to help if you have questions about their products or maybe even with the recipe that you're trying to follow.

This is the only fully Filipino store I've found that has everything you need! The workers are so sweet and everything is authentic with a decent price. If you are an avid Filipino cook or you just want to come for the delicious snacks, this is where to go! Salamat po!
