Best huevos rancheros in the city - This dish is exploding with flavor. Stacked corn tortillas, with rice and refried black beans in between, and an egg/cheese on top. Doused in a chipotle tomato sauce. The corn tortillas are fried which gives the dish a surprising 'crunch' which in my opinion levels up the texture.

This place was pretty good! I came in trying to take advantage of the specials going on for Louisville Taco Week. I was excited to see the offerings here were a little less basic and more unique than some of the other places. The tacos were pretty solid, especially for being on special for the event. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for my takeout order. The atmosphere is fun and colorful, with an interesting and ample locale. I'd definitely come back to check out some of their other specialties!

Such kind and helpful staff! The Huevos Rancheros were awesome, didn't feel heavy or greasy even though I added chorizo. They refilled our coffee whenever it started to get low, and their homemade sausage was good too. A nice vibe for brunch, and it looks like lunch/dinner would be hopping too. But even with them being busy there was no wait!

Pretty good chilaquiles! The tomato sauce was delicious but I just wished I had more of it. The carnitas were slightly dry but had a great flavor. I can't say anything about service or ambience because I got it delivered. However, I'm very open to trying it again in person.

Great location for a casual night out! We stopped by last Saturday night for dinner and drinks. They have a great patio area out back near the parking lot that is covered and offers several tables. Our server was very nice but was busy with inside tables, but we were in no hurry. The menu is eclectic with Latin cuisine and regular Mexican staples like tacos, quesadillas, etc. I ordered the chipotle Caesar salad with grilled chicken - it was reasonably priced around $13 including the meat. We also ordered several large sharable margarita pitchers - it was a bit watered down since it was warm outside but they were good. Our food was delayed because somehow to order wasn't in the system, but once we ordered again our food came out in about 10 minutes. The salad was delicious, a bit non traditional but the flavors were very good. The chicken was flavorful and tender. I would definitely order it again. My friends ordered the shrimp tacos, empanadas and chicken quesadilla. Everyone enjoyed their food. This is a great little restaurant and we'll be back!

First time being here. We went for "brunch" during Taco Week. They had a great selection, and between the two of us we tried all 5. The chicken was my favorite- very spicy! The brisket was good but not overly "Mexican"- seemed like it would've been more appropriate with potato salad and BBQ. Still, it was a nice place- glad that it wasn't the kitschy Mexican decor but instead had pops of color. Service was very good. Came by enough to keep our water filled but not so often as to be too attentive.

An inviting, comfortable ambience with excellent friendly service. Most important the food is wonderful. Everything I've tried has been top-notch. This is not your typical Mexican restaurant. lots of choices beyond the typical burritos, tacos, and enchiladas. The breakfast choices are superb..

We spent a few weeks in Louisville, invariably come meal time, when we took a poll as to where to eat, the group always voted for La Suerte. This place has so many different options that we could enjoy a different selection every night.Good authentic Mexican food served by friendly staff at reasonable prices = a winning combination. La Suerte is hands down our go-to Mexican Restaurant in Louisville. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options.

I went to La Suerte for Louisville taco week. I arrived and was immediately seated, it was a sunny day so I sat outside. I wasn't waiting very long before I learned that they had a three taco limit for taco week and they also had some live music. I ordered a margarita and my three tacos along with some plantains. I was not disappointed! All the tacos I had were delicious albeit small like street tacos. The margaritas were also good. I ended up getting the lime and peach. The service was quick and the live music was good. I have no complaints and I ended up bringing my friends a few weeks later.
