La Patisserie Francaise Louisville

My husband surprised me with a Valentine's run to La Patisserie, bringing me amazing goodies for breakfast in bed!The croissants were AMAZING (not pictured - ham and cheese croissant) and the chocolate covered strawberries were chefs kiss!The cappuccino was LEGIT! Yum!

Lunch lunch lunch now being served!My son and IWent Friday afternoon since no school. As of a week ago,They serve limited menu LUNCH - delicious.pictures next time.Pleasantly surprised ran into WLKY morning news anchor Caray Grace and her two kids. Nice chat . She mentioned they did a story on La Patisserie and store a great addition to area!

Maybe we caught them on an off day, but we stopped in for pastries on a Saturday morning around 9:30 am. The staff was very friendly and immediately greeted us and let us know they were ready for our order. A lot of items were down to the last one or two in the case. We ordered a plain croissant ($4), a chocolate croissant ($5), two bear claws ($4) and one strawberry tart ($7) for $26. The pastries were on the smaller side but we were excited to try everything out. Unfortunately, the plain croissant was stale and had no fluffy layers or silky texture and they gave us raspberry almond pastries instead of the bearclaws. Those pastries were fresh and soft but my kiddos didn't love the flavors. Its a beautiful shop with friendly employees but too expensive for the quality of food that was served in my opinion.

A good spot for a quick snack or breakfast bite. The croissants are flaky and fluffy and they offer a range of fillings - ham & cheese, chocolate, almond, etc. have only tried the eclairs among their other offerings, which are alright. Good but not the best I've had. A bit dense - not as airy and fresh as I've had. The ambiance is relatively quiet, and there's always a small crowd snacking, working, and chatting.

Lovely little shop on Bardstown Road. Friendly staff to answer questions on the pastries & desserts & coffee. Highly recommend the almond croissant and macaroons. Street parking available.

I lived for years on Tyler Parkway, and while there, one big wish I had for the neighborhood was a bakery. A girl can dream, right?I may not live in the area any more, but I'm happy to see my wish fulfilled, with La Patisserie Francaise Louisville.I stopped by about a week ago and found cases stocked with so many delicious pastries, including macarons, croissants, danishes, bread, tarts and more.I went home with a savory pastry and cheese danish. Both made my morning!This spot also has great indoor seating, in case you want to sit and enjoy your sweets while there.The staff were fast and accommodating. Great service plus pastries -- what more can you ask for?

It's a cute little French bakery with nice folk and tasty treats! It's at the corner of Bardstown Rd & Midland, where the UPS store used to be. The Highlands Mart is across the street on the opposite corner. We bought 5 pastries to share between 3 people, some sweet and some savory. I'll rate in stars each one, of which there was pretty close consensus. CHEESE DANISH (5 stars), ALMONDINE CROISSANT (3), APPLE TART (5), RASPBERRY DANISH (2 - was dry), HAM & CHEESE CROISSANT (4-5). The bonus was meeting Charlie (the owner and pastry Chef, I believe) and two of his assistants. The place has indoor & outdoor seating, but we took food home to taste test. Might have stayed if they served champagne LOL. Will be back.

Amazing pastries and handmade confections! The just added a lunch menu with handmade sandwiches with fresh daily baked bread! I buy a loaf of fresh baked bread every week.

Great tasting french pastry with many different types sweet or savory. They also have cookies and beautiful candies. Lovely atmosphere to sit and drink your coffee. Friendly attentive service.

The food, tea and dessert were delicious! I will be back! The guy behind the counter was very knowledgeable and helpful with ordering.
