Krispy Krunchy Chicken

Food is exactly what is advertised: the chicken is crunchy and flavorful, and the sides are yummy too!

Gas station chicken... but maybe the best fried chicken we have had in awhile.My husband and and I started talking about fried chicken and then had to have it! He spent some time looking at reviews and recommendations on Yelp, Google, and Reddit because there weren't a lot of obvious places beyond KFC (no thanks).Krispy floated to the top for recs and we popped in and it was great. Everything was made fresh for our order and the man working told us next time we could call our order in to be ready for pickup or use Mr. Delivery. We waited about 15 minites for our order.The chicken was crispy, flaky, and juicy. So good. Our orders came with honey biscuits, which were nothing special but you need a biscuit with that chicken! Wings were good, not breaded and good flavor. We would prefer BuffaLouies if wings were the main pull, but a good option among their menu.Mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were solid. We had planned to try the jambalaya but they were out foe the night.We will be back the next time the fried chicken craving hits!

My cousin and I heard good things so we decided to stop by. We got a large fries, Crispito, a Cajun tender, 2 piece dark, small mashed potatoes and gravy, and a small Mac and cheese. The fries are actually potato wedges. The fried chicken was so burnt that the skin was the color of a baked potato. It was so oily and hard. The wedges were fresh but they didn't have much flavor. The Cajun chicken tender was good and fresh. There wasn't much Cajun flavor and it reminds me of a Publix tender. We were a fan of the mashed potato's it reminds me of KFC mashed potatoes! They had good flavor and were burning hot! The Mac and cheese didn't had any flavor and was so dry. They gave me a large by accident but i wasn't sure if they charged me for it. The crispito is basically a chicken and cheese taquito. It was honestly my favorite thing in our whole meal. I definitely got a stomach ache after this though. We really wanted a biscuit but they looked like burnt hockey pucks. But the service is great! Everybody's super sweet. The food just is not good

Kind of a secret but solid fried chicken even though it's in a gas station don't be fooled. Staff is very nice and helpful.

Solid choice for fried chicken! Definitely the best I've had in B-town outside of the gourmet fried chicken scene (like when Talent used to be a thing). Mashed potatoes are good in a Bojangles kind of way. Biscuit was kinda dry but my kid liked it. The main takeaway here is the meat is juuuuuicy! Wowee. Real good on the tender front

Fresh Cajun style chicken tenders with Potato Wedges. Although Lincoln Square has better potato wedges these are not bad. This carry out is "gas station" chicken. Will return. Located right across the street from the iconic Longs Bakery.

If you're not looking for it, this place can hide from you, but I love not too far from it and it's a great spot. No matter what time of day it is that chicken smell hits you when you walk through the door. It lives up to its name by being crispy and crunchy and the options are always great. The workers did a good job of letting me know what they had and making good suggestions. I would show you a picture but I ate it all.
