Korner Inn

Nice unassuming restaurant in a small town. It's your standard American fare, but done pretty well. My fish sandwich was HUGE, though the taste was only good (not great). I think the rest of my family liked their food more. Prices are reasonable, as well.

Came here for an early dinner with friends. The servers were friendly and it was great for a small group. The food took a while (probably because we came so early), but it came out hit and it was delicious. I got the ribeye sandwich which was a lot bigger than expected and it was delicious. The onion rings were on point too! My shrimp loving kiddo inhaled the shrimp basket. The food was reasonably priced.

Great small town food to satisfy your appetite.I go here for the chicken tenders.They are great but a little light on the fries even though I got a double order.Worth a stop if you never had their chicken

Great local place with friendly staff. We really lucked out as a retired employee comes by and makes desserts occasionally and we got the last 3 slices of cheesecake to take home.I got the Buffalo frog legs and they had a decent sauce combined with a fair amount of meat. The chips are home made and come out still hot. Everything is a great value, too!This is a great place for lunch and definitely worth the drive.

We try to get here at least one Tuesday a month for their Fried Chicken lunch special. Many other menu items have been enjoyed by us and our guests. The staff are quite friendly and make every effort to make your meal enjoyable. Don't forget to ask about their cakes and pies for dessert!

I have to travel regularly from Louisville to St Louis. Finding a spot off the beaten track is hard since I have to stay as quarantined as possible. We are early so this place wasn't busy yet. The food was excellent! We had catfish, fried mushrooms and onion rings- all had a different batter. Loved the vinegar slaw. Everything was cooked correctly. Bartender Seth provided excellent service. We may stop again to try the German bologna sandwich

We were out on the motorcycle looking for lunch. The first place we went was closed. My husband said "let's go to that place we always ride by in Elberfeld ". He was referring to Korner Inn. The special for Sunday was 3 pieces of fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy with either corn or green beans. I am always looking for good fried chicken and I have to say, this was some of the best I've had! Everything was good, including the service. They have daily lunch specials, but I don't know if I'll ever get past ordering chicken!

Great food, great people! Fried chicken is especially good!! Don't forget the cold beer and deserts!

If you like waiting 30 minutes to order food, another 30 for it to be served all while you sit at the bar with an empty beer while the bartenders blindly walk by with zero attention, this might be the place for you. Been here 3 times, same result so it was surly not an odd evening for them. The food is fine, it's bar food. But after an hour an fifteen minutes there, you'd think a burger and 2 beers wouldn't be too overwhelming for the staff.

was driving around and got hungry. thought to check yelp reviews to find a place - so glad I did!!! Other reviews are not wrong. this place is genuine family restaurant. Everything we had was wonderful. Will be back!!
