Really Disappointing meal, After hearing about Knob Hill Tavern I have to admit I'm very upset about the quality of food and drinks for being a "Tavern".The menu is underwhelming and drinks are subpar... when I asked if they served cocktails I was told no and given a weird look.When I received my food it was the wrong order and then given the most unappetizing chicken wings (total of 5) for my meal.The atmosphere was great but could not make up for the most boring meal I've had in 2024.If you are looking for a quality drink and meal go elsewhere.

We have eaten a lot of their food, everything was very good. The service is very good and everyone that waited on us is very friendly and helpful. This is a pretty popular place so sometimes you may have a bit of waiting, it's worth the wait.

GREAT food, great frosty fishbowl and a friendly staff! Every time I go there it is fantastic.

let's take it back to old school .. the restaurant is made from an old house the lower seating area seems to be the basement or what was a family room with a fireplace all done with wood paneling. The food selection is outstanding with a lot of seafood options they are known for the drinks in a fish bowl. With weather permitting they have outdoor seating available. The servers are on the go moving non stop to accommodate everyone with a smile. It was kind of hard to hear each other because the space is tight but still enjoyable like being at a large family holiday dinner

Always stop past to grab a fish bowl and food if I'm in town, Greek Salad is awesome, same for the fiddlers

Came here with friends, for a lunchtime meet-up before a round of golf. We sat on their outdoor patio, which was unfortunately overrun with flies. Their bourbon menu was extensive and impressive, but with 18 holes looming we did not partake. :-(I had heard good things about their fried chicken, so I decided to give that platter a go. It came with half a fried chicken, a dinner roll and two sides...I chose creamy cole slaw and potato salad.Their fried chicken was moist on the outside, a light crispy skin on the outside but had absolutely no flavor at all. It was quite disappointing. Both my sides, the creamy cole slaw and potato salads, were just average. Creamy, yes...flavorful, not so much.Locals here seem to love the place, but I just could not get behind the meal I had.

Chicken livers and fiddlers are fantastic. Place is a little pricey so I can't do this every day. But very nice.

Cute tavern with a dining room and a bar area. I really enjoyed the fried fish. Super crispy and went well with the Tatar sauce. Corn sticks were a bit dry but the beer was probably the closest beer I've ever had. The goblet was frozen and turned part of the beer to slush! Yummm service was as great. Super friend place. Definitely stop by.

When we arrived, we went inside and waited to be seated. Our first impression of the cleanliness of the stairs and carpet should have been our signal to leave. The waitress came and told us to sit anywhere so we decided to sit on the terrace which was actually very nice. We ordered an appetizer of fried mushrooms. Once they arrived, we knew they were not fresh but frozen and something you could pick up from your local Sam's Club. The taste confirmed that. Since they were so bad, we decided to try the onion rings. Bad idea. The breading was not good and they were overcooked. Our salad came out next which included chopped lettuce and tomato and green pepper bits. Not impressed. They could have left off the green peppers and included larger slices of tomato. The blue cheese dressing was the best part. I ordered mango habanero mahi mahi and a baked potato. It was pretty good and cooked perfectly and the potato was good too but it is hard to mess up a baked potato. In the end, we spent $75.00 on appetizers, salad and main entrees. My husband was reading the reviews as we waited for our bill. Google reviews said it had an average of 4.5 stars. Not sure what they ordered or what other restaurants they have been to, but in my opinion, this was not a good experience.

Great Food, service is stellar. Fiddlers rock! Cold beer, good bourbon, good bar. I don't know what else anyone need!
