Kings Fast Food Chicken

Let's start with the wait time. The wait time for the food is long. By the volume of traffic you know it's a local favorite spot. The menu board was all over the place/hard to make out. Customer service lacked also it was hard to make out that they actually had flavors that came on the wings. Let's just say this everything needed seasoning(Macaroni, Potato wedges & the chicken). The yams were sweet but lacked butter or syrup to give it that umph. But what I can say is that pink lemonade was definitely on diabetes! Lol that was the best part about the meal. Just let the ice inside melt a little bit and it's the perfect drink.

This is by far one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Usually I wait in the drive through. Everything is cooked to order so it's going to be at least a 20 minute wait. The chicken and sides are all fresh on the spot. The chicken wings and fish are usually what is ordered for my family and it's always gone. This isn't a sloppy, quick order restaurant. They care about what they serve and the quality. Kings is a louisville staple and if you haven't been you're missing out.

My goodness this place slaps. They cook everything fresh when ordered. The small chicken wings are unique and their sauces are fantastic. The best part was unexpectedly the potato wedges. AMAZING. There's no seating so you must take to go.

it's a fried chicken corner joint in the hood. their spicy chicken is just the right amount of spice, but it's their green beans that's worth writing about. Literally they have the best green beans on the planet. went on NYE around dinner time and there was a line of cars at the drive through that circled onto the street cause their food is worth the wait, if that speaks of their quality.

My favorite meal at Kings is the 6 piece. I always get spicy if you don't like hot or spicy food don't get because they are HOT. The 6 piece comes with 3 wedges and a roll. The wings and wedges are very good, but the only downside to Kings is how long you have to wait. I literally waited in the drive-thru line for over 30 minutes. It was worth the wait. My food was very fresh and hot. You get a combination of small wings and peg legs.

Just come in to town and was looking forward to trying the fried chicken that makes Kentucky great. The service was friendly. The food was not to my satisfaction, the chicken was way to greasy, made me kind of sick. The potatoes and Rolls tasted kind of old. I guess the price shows you what you get.

If you are like me, I was in search of some good ass fried chicken when I was in Kentucky. So I chatted up all the locals and hands down many told us to go to Kings. We were also given the advice not to go after sunset which certainly may have turned many away but we were on a quest! Now the neighborhood wasn't so bad but I definitely don't think it was for everyone. We went through the drive through, it was a long line, took us about 30 minutes to get through. We had a big order but they turned it around very quickly. The sun was setting by the time we left and I can certainly see what people were warnings us about.. there were definitely some folks coming out of the houses nearby ready to work and they definitely did not seem all there if you catch my gist. The chicken was very tasty and cheap. I'd love to say I'd go back but I don't think I'll ever be in this hood again...

FRESH Honey bbq wings and grape kool aid best meal in the hood never disappoints me..just missing some grippos...Yesssss!!!!! Keep up the good work.

Heard about this place and I can say I was not impressed! I purchased 4 wings with 2 sides. The wings were tasted old and the meat was dry like they had been sitting all day; the mac and cheese is all the way off and the baked beans tasted like smoked red sugar!I should have went with my 1st thought Indi's chicken

I ordered Whiting fish. Fish didn't have too taste. Everything else I ordered was delicious, onion rings and fried mushrooms. Delores
