King Gyros

I still do not understand why this place isn't as packed as the other food court eateries. I live over an hour away but everytime I am in town I stop by to eat, even if it is to grab a plate to take home. The food is fresh, the quality of the food and preparation is great and the customer service has always been great to me. I challenge anyone to eat here at LEAST once to give it a try. I think the ONLY reason people don't eat here is because it's different than your normal pizza place or chick fil a or other typical establishment. No I'm not a paid customer, I'm not an employee or get anything from this. Just an honest review. If you want typical food..got it. If you want quality food...here it is ‍. Sorry if half of my food is eaten already lol.

I remember when I first moved to Louisville no one could refer me to a place to get gyro's. It became routine for me to travel back up to Chicago and have my gyro sandwich. 20 years later and I'm still looking to get my gyro fix. We were in the mall shopping and saw this location was open. The gentleman greeted us quickly and told us their special. We got gyro combo with tzaziki and on pita bread with fries. The combo came with plenty of gyro meat, which I loved. I ordered mines topped with lettuce tomato and onion. I should've had him go light on onion but I still enjoyed my gyro very much. If you'd like gyro or chicken pita stop in.

This was my first time visiting this location and eating a Gyro and it was delicious. The customer service was excellent and they were super friendly. I was given a piece of lamb to try before my purchase and it was very thoughtful of the employee since it was my first time. I look forward to going back to Oxmoor Mall so I can visit King Gyros again. Oh my daughter had the chicken tender combo and she enjoyed it as well.

This king Gyros today I went shopping mall the want to eat Sam things there is the king Gyros but the not is not good the foods very old and smells beds it's not Frish Fresh this is halal food place I never again in this place

Ive ordered from here before and it was good... but today it was the worst ever... gyro was nothing but huge chunks of onions and several cucumber peels without the actual cucumber ‍... the hummus was so watery it spilled all over the bag and the tabouli was huge chunks of onion and tomato with very little parsley. The tzatziki sauce was straight cream no flavor at all. Not to mention paying for tabouli and hummus and it doesnt come with pita? Biting into my gyro and all you taste is onion because there was more onion than gyro meat! Very disappointing!!

Pretty good gyro. It was already sliced off the spit in warming tray or would have been a 5. Lots of meat.

We tried this restaurant because of the positive reviews and was very disappointed with service and food. We had reservations trying it because it was in the mall food court but gave it a try.First, the older lady that waited on us was taking our order and talking on her phone using a Bluetooth which was confusing us because we didn't know if she was talking to us or the phone. Just rude to be on the phone and waiting on us at the same time.We ordered two lamb gyros and a order of hummus. The other lady fixing our gyros asked us what we wanted on the gyros and when we told her, then she would want to put something totally different on them.The meat was ok and the vegetables were fresh but the tzatziki sauce was bland and very runny, like it was watered down.The hummus was the consistency of soup and no taste, plus they charge an extra $1.50 for one piece of stale pita bread. Again, the hummus was watered down.We wasted $28 and walked away feeling ripped off and still hungry. One star for the bottle of water.

service was horrible, meat portion too small for the price. the only good about my order was the French fries.

The lamb gyros are great! Heaping portion of lamb, the pita bread is warm and the vegetables are fresh. $6.99 is a great price, especially in a mall! My son chowed down on the buffalo wings and fries.The man behind the counter was very friendly. We will definitely be coming back again.

I have went to this place 4 times so far . My favorite food court in st Mathew's mall. I want to try their lamb chops but last time they said they said they sold out. I'm hoping next time I go there is some lamb chops. Prices for the food is reasonable. I plan on going back.
