King Buffet

My review is based on menu takeout. Unsurprisingly, most of their dishes are better fresh. This place is not shy about spicy and I think that is a major plus. Their Mongolian Beef is by far my favorite. Most places make this an overly sweet dish in my opinion, but here it is a much more balanced dish of sweet and spicy. The Orange Chicken is similar in that it is spicier than you might expect if you are used to other similar restaurants in the surrounding area. The portions are decent for the price. Most dinner portions are more than a single person can eat, so 2 or 3 entrees would likely feed 4 people. The buffet is fine if you want something quick and more options, but I would recommend ordering off the menu if you don't mind the wait.

I tried this location twice recently and both visits have been decent. It had been several years since I've tried this because the quality of their buffet just didn't provide the quality food experience. However, because of covid they are cooking everything to order and for me this makes a big difference. The good points were: fresh food, crispy chicken, tasty General Tso. The negatives points: I asked if the chicken dishes were all white meat, and was told yes. It was not. My second trip, I requested all white meat, they repeated it, but it wasn't provided. Did not like their version of Sesame Chicken. The Orange Chicken didn't provide the least bit of orange flavor. Tips: very few Chinese options in the vicinity. I think you could find select dishes that would be worth the visit.

I liked this buffet, food came out fresh frequently and the staff were very attentive. Also cant beat the price 10$ all you can eat?!

My wife and I recently moved to Lebanon Junction and have been looking for a Chinese buffet. We tried King Buffet today and didn't really like it. The sushi all tasted bland. The chicken was so slippery I wondered what part of the bird it was from! Egg rolls were mushy and the desserts well...You get the picture. Hey maybe people like it! But for $32.00 for two for lunch with tip, I could have driven to our favorite In Louisville!M

It's been open forever but they never have anything new or tried to expand. If they could get a larger place or add more to the buffet, it would be excellent!As far as taste in concerned, it's the best I've ever had! For such a small quantity, the food is absolutely fantastic!

The food is great. Seriously! The dumplings are amazing and the fried rice is a YES!! Recommend highly!!

Stopped in on my way home to TN for lunch last week. I've been to a lot of Chinese buffets across the country, I found this one to be better then average. Not an extensive selection, but there was a decent amount of food items present, and just about everything I sampled was fresh & tasty.So I'm puzzled by the couple of 1 Star reviews I read. I think those reviews are out of line, and I would certainly stop in again to King Buffet if I was passing by. Easy on & off the highway is a big plus also.

Our waitress was great and the tea was really good! Clean and didn't have an underlying smell like in other older establishments. It must have been an off day or a crowd went through before we got there, there were limited selections all the way around, some selections were empty, and no sushi, I don't know if that was even an option or not, but there is usally sushi at other Buffets. I wanted to give higher, but I felt I was being generous with a 3.

Left mammoth cave Easter morning with a hungry family. This place is about a 25 minute drive north from there. Little sectoral waking in the strip mall but once inside very friendly waitress and people dressed in church clothes. The food was really good and everybody left very happy. Very clean place and fresh food brought out all the time. Only downside is they don't give a price break for kids over 9.

Not bad, it was little expensive for takeout but had very good flavor and quality. The fried wontons are small but the is the best I've ever had.
