Kilroy's Sports Bar

Fun place. I got to relive my college days. The bar has expanded into three different areas. Luckily it wasn't fratty as the reputation - there were some of parents and alumni when I went. They make you line up outside even if no one is there which is lame -it's not a classy NYC club. There's a modest cover. Just don't ask the bartender for a gimlet because he doesn't know what one js haha.

I'm an IU alumni and was in town celebrating a 20 year reunion with my sorority sisters. The staff at Kilroy's Sports were escorting a customer out of the bar and I was violently shoved onto my back and smacked my head against the concrete floor. My sorority sister, who has since passed away, worked with the manager who was present at the time who assured her Kilroy's would take full responsibility for my injuries. I went to the ER and was treated for a concussion. Upon receipt of my medical bill, I attempted calling the establishment, but their voice mailbox is full and they claim to only answer the phone after 10:00 pm on Thursday-Sunday. So I wrote a letter and included my bill. I've been working on getting payment now for over 4 months along with my lawyer. It's been a total nightmare. Stay away from this place.

They're only here for the money!!! Ridiculous covers, 30 min+ waits, terrible service, and overpacked rooms. Be prepared to frequently show ID (although I've heard sometimes you need TWO forms). It's like Lollapalooza: overcrowded, sweaty, up-charged...yet you go for the experience.

Bar is great for a night out dancing, really love that it has created a more "nightclub" type environment at times! The bar itself is also really nice and well decorated, looks pretty.However, this is not a safe space for women or queer people from my experience. I was harassed and treated very poorly by a lot of the male patrons here, as were my friends. Obviously this responsibility doesn't lie solely on the business itself, but the people who frequent this bar make it very unenjoyable and frightening at times.

Of all the drink and food specials that abound in this wonderful college town, Kilroys Sports' 321 Wednesday reigns supreme! $3 for a 3 Floyds Alpha King? Yes! $2 for double wells? Might regret that choice tomorrow! $1 for gourmet tacos that are are so damned tasty that I'd happily pay the regular menu price for them? Oh, hell yes!Two thumbs way up to Chef Andre for the killer tacos!And if you haven't done it already Kilroy, give Bartender Jack a big fat raise for his warm and welcoming service!!

Horrible. I think they all lost brain cells at birth. Door staff did card us, bartenders x2 did not know if they had carryout or what that even was (told us to take the serving dish), another staff member directed us incorrectly to kitchen because we were going to get our own carryout boxes.

Sports clearly knows they are the only club like option for Bloomington partiers. They half-a** most of what they do since they know they're going to fill their tables. The "cover" of $15 is ridiculous especially for a weeknight. I guess it's them really analyzing supply and demand. Evidently, it is working. The towers are never clean so be cautious that you'll find black pieces in your ice. The breadsticks are always solid though. I wish they mixed up the tunes as it seems its very repetitive. Until other places open up, I will be going back. They will have to change their ways when this shiz is over.

Sports is good for dancing on Thursday and Saturday nights in particular. There will be a cover on these nights, but it's only $5 unless there is a major event. The dancin is upstairs in "the jungle". It's a very big bar, with a lot of different rooms and different feels. Wednesday nights they offer bingo and $1 tacos. The tacos are surprisingly great- lots of unique options and a good size! Sports usually doesn't have any great drink specials, not always some average ones. Make sure to ask at one of the several bars.

Ginger dude took my ID and it was real, he had a huge power trip dont know what was wrong with him. Do not recommend. I ended up getting my ID back and the rest of the people were very respectful about it. DO NOT RECOMMEND Especially if you were from out of town I have never been to Indiana.

I was at sports with one of my friends when we were interrupted by a security guard asking us to leave. when asked why he said "one of our bartenders said you made her uncomfortable." the bar had not been approached and she was ashamed to face her bad choices. #bitchesbecray
