My son and I attended the Bourbon University at the Kentucky Bourbon House. The Colonel and Margaret Sue were very knowledgeable about bourbon and were extremely gracious. We tasted 14 different types of bourbon and 1 Tennessee whiskey. The Colonel told us about bourbon history, the difference of wheated bourbon, what makes bourbon sweet or spicy and the different types of bourbons. We were served a charcuterie board about half way through the class. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and learned a lot about bourbon at the Bourbon House with the Colonel and Margaret Sue.

My friend and I just visited Bardstown for a girls' weekend, and we stayed at the Bourbon Cottage. The home was absolutely perfect for our weekend. The home is within easy walking distance to all activities in downtown Bardstown. The accommodations were perfect. The beds were comfy, the home was super clean and the decor makes you feel like you can simply relax. We had continental breakfast items made available to us each morning, including milk, juice and coffee. If we return to Bardstown, we'd love to stay here again.
