Kentucky Battery Outlet

After being introduced to this shop by my Dad, I will never go anywhere else for a battery. You don't really pay attention to the cost of things until you have to pay for them yourself -- and batteries are EXPENSIVE! BUT -- the KY Battery Outlet makes them affordable. Their batteries are literally about half the cost of what you'd pay somewhere else. How do they do it? Well, (I think) the cost savings is in that they require you to give them your old battery. What they do with it, I'm not sure - maybe recycle it, maybe recharge them -- not sure, don't care if it saves me $50-$100. I can attest to purchasing several motorcycle batteries (smaller battery so life expectancy is 1 year) and 1 car battery and having zero issues. They are super friendly, will check your current battery at no charge and make sure you leave with the correct battery for your make and model. They will take out the old, install the new and it's usually a quick in-and-out. They accept credit card, even discover! The only downside is that someone in the office is a really big UK fan-- so that paraphernalia is all over the office where you pay. Yuck. I've dealt with worse Cats fans.. these guys are pretty okay in my book. (Wink face -- because yelp doesn't yet believe in emoji's in reviews)Extra-extra -- I have a friend who owns a food truck. She mentioned needing a new battery. I told her about this place and that it was worth the drive. She told me later that day that they saved her $150. So yea -- never buy a battery anywhere else!

I went to get a new battery for my Tesla and they laughed so hard. I like a locally owned store like this. They are A-OK.

I just purchased my third battery from these guys and very happy again with the price and service. I've been going here for over ten years and they've always had what I need for about half the price of the big box stores. If you can jump it and get it there, they will even change the battery out for you in the parking lot.
